Did some testing both with and without the price multiplier addon, however it seems this mod is not working as intended after Update 1.11.36. The merchants in scanning zones were offering less than what the stolen contraband was initially valued at.
Do you have something else that's conflicting with this mod? I just tested it on 1.11.36 and it seems to work fine.
Sold some Harvested Organs with a base (game) value of 13500, which changed to 135000 (using the 10x price mult addon) as soon as I landed in Akila. When I sold it at the Trade Authority it sold for 84000 (Commerce Rank 4).
I think the game adjusts all prices down from listed value anyway.
Decided to do some testing again and can agree that there's likely a conflict, although I'm not sure which mod could be the culprit among either Commerce Perk Redux ; Immersive Contraband ; or Va'Ruun Heretic Writings in relation to contraband and selling to vendors. When i visited the TA in Jemison, I had a total of 11 unique contraband items to sell but the only one that had a high sell price variable factored in was the Xenowarfare Tech contraband. When I removed the esm mod, not only was the sell price for the rest of the contraband I had still the same as when I had the mod included, but I lost the Xenowarfare Tech contraband as well.
I have this mod placed near the bottom from the rest of the aforementioned mods I'm using so it should take priority.
Tried to craft some S.T.E.V.E., Aurora was not recognized as a crafting material. Disabling this mod made crafting possible again but also deleted the Aurora in my pocket.
S.T.E.V.E is vanilla; It's only available as a recipe after obtaining a magazine (Neon Nights 2) so you may not have unlocked it yet (btw the magazine is in one of the VIP rooms in the Astral Lounge). I tried this myself and the recipe seems to not work only in places where it would be considered contraband, but the recipe works fine elsewhere.
Seriously? That's why it's broken, the author isn't aware of a base game magazine in a room you get specifically sent to in the Ryujin questline. S.T.E.V.E. is real.
I don't know how many times I overlooked that magazine, It always looked like a static piece of paper that guy was reading. Then one time I clicked on it and was surprised it was a magazine.
Currently this does not seem to work when selling from the ship's cargo, but does work when selling from personal inventory. So far the work around has been to sell from ship inventory, buyback then sell from personal inventory for the correct price.
I'm not sure if its just the latest update or another mod but I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing random cargo containers spawn in containing tens of contraband items when they jump into a system or travel to a planet?
It feels like a random event but its a bit game breaking when you find 10 containers of of 50x Xenowarfare. They keep spawning as they get picked up which feels like a bug.
I don't have any mods that change random events or drops in space.
I was about to drop a bug report on the immersive Starfield Contraband mod's page but since I have that mod and this one, I didn't know which one was causing the issue.
I just grav-drive above Piazzi 1 looking for Andreja (Into the Unknown main quest) and I managed to collect 48 pieces of harvested organs valued at 577,000 all together. I could retire to Paradiso right now if I wanted to.
Then it must be Immersive Starfield Contraband because that does add contraband to the world. I will copy and paste this there. If it's not that one then.... I don't know what else it could be.
Can anyone confirm if this works in conjunction with 'Immersive Contraband' https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/7213. Or does this only affect vanilla?
Hello, love your mods wSkeever, I appreciate you sharing them all with us.
There is a conflict with the Aurora Duration And Effects mod, whereby the modded Aurora reverts to vanilla in all scan cities (Jemison, Akila, etc... but not Neon).
I don't use anything to sort my load order so that may be a fix but I wanted to let you/others know on the off-chance it helps solve a mystery :P thanks!

Has anyone else seen this?

But yes, game breaking as heck.
