For all those who, once the mod is installed in the main game directory, find themselves with a completely "buggy" skin, simply delete mod files from the main directory and install them in the Documents folder (Documents - My Games - Starfield - Data).
The mod is working as it should except for an odd issue. I downloaded the Mantis replacer option and every time i try installing the mod (even specific files) the parts of the armor that should be green are black. as if I installed the black suit file, which i didnt..
I dont hate it. My dude looks threatening af now but I genuinely been trying to get the og green hue but im as a loss on what to do lol
The mantis is black, because it looks better, i can t use the materials from mantis armor because it looks awful ^^ in green it looks poor texturing without it
But is there any chance you could help me with a version for the Bounty Hunter suit? I use it on my playthrough and want to avoid using commands for now (to spawn in a mercenary armour with similar perks and stats).
I tried bulk renaming all the files, and while it does seem to import the mesh, I am left with this abomination xD
Any help would be greatly appreciated! It's just for personal use so I won't re-upload it, unless you want me too.
Ah, that's unfortunate, but thank you for responding! :D I have already tried your other mod indeed, I guess that'll do for now. I'm using your Mantis version for that. Any chance of a version of that with a dark visor? The blue kind of stands out, haha.
Also, didn't realise the armour stats are rolled when you kill the boss, instead of when loading the level. Might give that a try and look for a good Merc armour :) Honestly, primary reason I'm sticking to my Bounty Hunter armour for so long is because it has the Holstered attribute, which makes weapons weigh half as much. Just like the Slayer, I like to carry lot's of guns :p
Ok. I must be dumb cuz I can't make the mod work... I did everything said in the Description, the .ini file etc... but I still can seem to make it work... please help.
Ok 1st I downloaded the Transparent visor Mercenary version, then I also downloaded the opaque version thinking I might need that one for the other to work. Before you ask I also have the SFSE and launch my game from the SFSE launcher file.I don't know if it matters but I downloaded all the mods with the Vortex mod manager.
Are you using the right spacesuit? :D the mercenary player.additem 0016E0B6 player.additem 0016E0B5 player.additem 00226296 Does it appear just like the original or is it buggy?

or you can reload your save, before killing a lvl50+ pirate or eclipse boss , until you get a legendary mercenary suit ^^
