Is this just a visual/mesh change, or does it alter his behaviour as well? I'd love to have a little rolling cargo bot that scoots out of range when combat begins.
Hi, it works for me, with the optional file, and as I am using astromech minibots, Vasco turns into R2D2 XDD cool- But he stopped talking to me. Never does since.
I can talk to him, then he responds, but never makes any comments, or never greets me again.
he worked fine for me for the 20 minutes i used it for, i ended up removing bc i dont want esm mods on my main save for now but will re add in the future
Hi lads, The reason VASCO wont talk to you is because he is using the minibot voicelines...and they don't have many. In order to "fix" that a custom VASCO race needs to be created that is a mix of the vanilla minibot and VASCO entries.
I've made such an .esm for myself, which i have uploaded on Nexus ..it's not perfect for what i wanted it to do (make a miniVASCObot that is immune to minibot retextures) ...but its perfect for what you want it to do (Make VASCO speak his original lines, whilst using the minibot retextures).
@Korodic Please feel free to use said .esm, in any way you see fit, if you feel it will help you move forward with your project.
did you actually load them though? from main description page "I recommend loading the ESM using Plugins.txt Enabler by Nukem." there are other methods but this is likely the easiest
That file really should have not been in optional lmao, didn't even see it, but I just instead used the pet follower mod for a lil guy and kept Vasco as Vasco
LOL Maybe you could turn Vasco into one of these barstools that come with a Deimos hab (the ones with the bright red cushions) so we can sit on him to pass the time too....
if you have the astromech mod installed it does change him if you use the security bot, garden or sanitary bots, there was no reason to use the base mesh until now as you nearly never see one except in neon
, astromech touches the other 3 bots sanitary, security and garden, the base bot that is here isn't touched, so your best bet is to use one of those 3 depending what you want, Dm me pls if it works ;)
Yeah definitely not a virus. Just tested download and no issue here? Was the alert against the file or the mod manager? Cant imagine why either would flag, but if this is your first ESM mod it may be suspicious of it as well.
No 7zip and winRAR refused to unzip it it said process failed files may contain virus so I tried Mo2 and it said instance failed because it detected a virus

Is it the same for the rest of you?

The "manual" installation process is the same as any other .esm plugin that comes without extra files.
if invisible, you are either missing a mod which performs race change or you are missing the armor (appearance) change.
