    Running into an issue when using this mod with your Fast Start New Game mod...

    I started a new game with Constellation disabled.   Now anything at the Lodge -- INCLUDING THE CONTENTS OF THE UNIVERSAL STASH -- gets flagged as stolen.

    If I switch resources to the Lodge stash and back to an outpost stash, everything is flagged.

    Anyway around this short of just not using the switch to Lodge function?  (Still beats messing with transfer links everywhere...)

      This is not something I can replicate. Fast Start a new game, disable Constellation and no Lodge stuff is marked as stealing.

    New to the game and indeed to the mod as well... 
    If I read well the earlier comments, having contraband on the ship, in my inventory or in the SKK Universal stash will cause the stash emptied when scanned and caught. 

    Soooo...  how I supposed to handle contraband to not to risk my legit content in the universal stash?  Apart from storing in a base somewhere on a planet in a non connected cargo storage....

      Why not use the [ Switch to Stash ] transfer container activation option or [ Reset Outpost Transfer Container ] menu option to clear the transfer container storage before approaching a planet that scans ? 

      Seems like a sensible thing to do if your going to haul contraband through a scan.

    First, I want to say, this is an AWESOME mod. No more running/Fast Traveling back and forth all the time to pick up materials.

    I do want to mention this just in case anyone else has problems installing it though (I'm on the Xbox GamePass Version). I was having a ton of trouble getting this installed, I tried for literally hours both manually and through mod managers. I read through the posts to search for solutions and kept coming up empty and was about ready to give up, however, I saw on the SKK Fast Start mod somewhere that if you already have an sTestFile1=***.esm in the StarfieldCustom.ini, then you have to just use a different TestFile number for the other mods you are trying to use, which may be obvious to some, but I didn't think anything of it, and Vortex wasn't doing this on it's own.

    After I swapperd SKKUniversalStash.esm to sTestFile1= and swapped the other two to 2 and 3 respectively everything finally started working right to a great relief. Maybe I am just an absolute idiot though and this should have been common sense, but just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else happens to run into this problem.

    Again though, thanks for the great mod!

    Would it be possible to make a feature where you can create stashes for different item categories? Like instead of a universal stash box with everything you could have a separate one for spacesuits, weapons, etc. That way if you're like me and like to sort items you can access them on any of your ships by just placing an instance down. Or perhaps create a link between vanilla containers. Basically have duplicates of the universal stash but for one type of item, or perhaps its part of the universal stash but the container only shows that one item type.

      That is not practical as the stash can not actually know what is inside itself using standard functions.

      Could be done in Fallout4 with F4SE addon functions, but I don't develop using 3rd party dependencies.

    I have contraband in the stash and failed the scan at Volii where they took everything that was in the stash. I assumed the stash was different from the ship's cargo and was therefore safe. I just realized I do have the universal container on the ship, though, so is this the culprit? My question for clarification, basically, is if I have a universal container on the ship, it will act as the ship's cargo?

      No, the stash transfer container does not act as ship cargo. That is a totally seperate container and why there is a transfer to/from ship cargo menu option.

      When the ship is scanned for contraband ALL the continers on the ship are scanned including player inventory, captains locker, ship cargo, any decorator built containers AND the stash transfer container ... any container, all containers in the ship interior cell. Thats how the game works.

      Universal Stash was developed before players had decorators to build stash transfer containers on ships. Now that you can, you need to learn to work with/around the new game mechanics.

      Thanks for the clarification. It definitely happened because I have the universal container on the ship so now I know what the deal is.

      Also, since I'm here, let me just say how great this mod is. My favorite part about it is the way the outpost containers ALL transfer to stash when you transfer one -- this feature is so great and doesn't feel cheaty at all. The vanilla way of transferring stuff should have been done like this.

      I just realized, that I also lost all my stuff from my universalstashcontainer. I also had contraband in the container on my ship. and was scanned. Is this the reason to loose all the stuff. I mean, all not only the stolen stuff. So I'm looking for a reason for this.

      The game takes everything from all containers that are on a ship when contraband is found. 

      Its how the game works, so either (a) be more immersively careful what you store on ship when smuggling or (b) tell Bethesda if you don't like it.

      you said that this mod was created before  players had decorators to build stash transfer containers on ship,if is a thing that is the base game or you need to buy some creation for having this possibility.

      Have you tried building outpost stash transfer container in a ship hab which has a decorator ?

      People have been doing that since ship interior decorators were added to the game.

    Hello!
    All was working well, when all of the sudden the game did a shaders refresh this morning.
    I had to reinstall and re=enable all my mods. But the content of the universal sash container got emptied. Tons of stuff missing!
    Your production transfer container worked fine though. I retrieved all productions form all outposts. Still, how can I recuperate my original stash?

      If your stuff was in the base game placed central lodge stash, no problem that's a persistent base game reference.

      If your stuff was in a spawned outpost transfer container your probably screwed as reinstalling mods changes dynamic object references.

      Reinstall is mostly the same as removing and then installing, SKKMods has never supported removing scripted mods at all ever for many great technical reasons including this.

      So, I should go to the lodge? My stuff was visible throughout all outposts with the aid of your wonderful Outpost Stash Transfer, and as you designed it so well, could be accessed in all my outposts. I just loaded an earlier save, and all is back in my container.

    question about using on outposts.
    i build extractors, connect them to a common container, which i connect to a universal storage for mined resources. then after some time of waiting i can see that all mined resources are in the universal storage, i can press space to transfer. (also i want to say that automatic transfer does not work, i tried toggling the option).
    but if i go to another cell, to Space on business, or to another outpost in another part of this planet, and come back after some time, i will find that there are no collected resources at all in the outpost. not in the common container, not in the universal storage for mined resources, not in the universal storage itself. i tested this and every time the same scenario. someone explain to me, i am doing something wrong?

      Disconnect universal stash and allow your resource collectors to run whilst you are not there. Do they collect resources ?

      yes, if the container is not connected to a universal storage.I have to increase the container volume via the console, this is an undesirable tradeoff.

      You do not connect your resource collectors to the Universal Stash Transfer container. You connect your resource collectors to the Outpost Production Container. If you do that at all 24 outposts, you just press one key to consolidate. To test: turn off "Automatic Outpost Transfer" and turn on "Consolidate All Production" in settings.     The outpost storage container is missing. everything else seems to be working fine.
