I've found that it is possible to give any NPC a copy of your own character appearance (start this process from step 4) - credits to Either-Metal9422 on Reddit:
--------------------- "Update. I have made a breakthrough, and it is now possible to edit NPCs (not without potential challenges, depending on how in-depth you went with your own character)
1. Type "slm player 2" in the console without quotes. 2. Make your character look however you want the NPC in question to look. 3. Apply the changes. 4. Open the console and click on the target character and type "capp player" 5. This will apply your appearance to that character. 6. Go back to either "slm player 2" or "slm player 1" if you want access to presets and recreate your character. This is the flaw in this method but I expect it will be fixed by the release of mod tools or other methods." ---------------------
SAVE FIRST and do this at your own risk. I'm not sure how you can revert the changes applied to the NPC back to their vanilla own appearance if you change your mind at a later point.
Also, if you want to preserve your own separate appearance before making your "npc face", I saw a suggestion to apply your appearance to a corpse or inconsequential npc first, then use the command "capp [ref id]" with your player selected (the ref id being the npc's ID that you saved your appearance to)
Yeah, I noticed this, I think it was patched in as an additional setting after you had made the original character. The default/neutral setting works well, so it's no biggie.

Hopefully it's alright. Looking back I wish I moved the chin forward a bit.
