    Hey,
I was wondering if you've had the time to work on that ship I requested?

If / when you work on it, remember that it's supposed to be an explorer ship, so build it so that it fits that theme. It can have several decks, it can have a cargo bay and it should have bedrooms (I'm unsure if that's in the game) to the amount of crew the ship can have. In my story, I have twelve crew, but to stuff twelve bedrooms would be a bit much, so just a would be more than sufficient.

If you don't have the time or are no longer interested, drop a message and I won't bother you with this again.

    Thanks!

it would be interesting if such a large "Frontier" flew to Vectera, well, not so big, but shorter by one 2x3 hub... is it possible to replace the gaming frontier? or any other ship?

Hey, it's been a couple of weeks, and like I said before, I don't mean to rush you, but have you managed to work on my request yet? If not, that's perfectly okay of course.

It's just that, if I don't say anything, then you might forget about it, but I'm really grateful that you are even willing to spend some time for my request.

    Hi,
I was wondering if I could make a specific request for a ship? Because I'm terrible at it. (Also haven't unlocked the relevant skills yet and I don't want to cheat my way into them.)

Anyway, if you're interested, I would like you to take the frontier as a base and only expand it a little bit, so it makes sense for it to be an actual ship of exploration. I mean, where are the bedrooms? For example. Sam goes on and on about how Cora needs to clean up her room, but WHAT room!?

So, just expand it a little and try to make it more logical, so if the frontier were real, it would actually be useful. I'm going to download / check this version in game, but I'm pretty sure it's waay too big.

The reason for my request is that I'm writing a story (Starfield X TES fusion) but the frontier, while it's an awesome ship, doesn't feel like a ship of exploration, you know?
Thank you very much for considering it. If not, that's okay too.

I'll see what I can do, I usually work long hours during the weekdays so I'll try a build this weekend following this reply.   My gaming "schedule" during the weekdays are sporadic due to long work hours.

And yes, this ship somewhat breaks the limits of allowable ships inside a landing pad - just barely.  The habs on this  particular ship have at least all of the required crafting amenities you would need: workshops, research station, and infirmary.   The rest are more or less for roleplay due to the fact one of the interior includes a "rec room" with an actual pool table.    I am a little bit fond of larger ships, tbh, and I tend to cram just a little of everything into a build as long as mods allow them.

Well, if you're willing to spend the time to do my request, permit me to be a little more specific, also, I have spent very little time in the ship builder, other than the occasional upgrade. The razorleaf is my favourite ship, but in my story, I want to stick to the Frontier.

So, I would like the pilot hab, to have space for three crew, then I would like it to have a meeting room and three bedrooms. That's it, basically. If it can have a walk-in-cargo hold, that would be good too. Is there a larger bathroom as well instead of just a shower stall?

Thank you very much for the effort you'll put into this for me!

      Hey man,
I don't mean to rush you, but have you been able to work on my request about the ship? If not, no biggie, I understand when real life interferes. i'm grateful for the effort you're going to put into, so yhea. Thanks!

    I like your NASA style...
i'll just leave some pics my own ship here
    https://imgur.com/a/yI1IeTa

I went for NASA punk too but its a bit more spikey than yours.

I call it the "Final Frontier".
Because Star Trek of course... and because the starter ship is called Frontier, that made me instantly think of Final Frontier.
aaaand because i'm 100% sure i will always be messing with it and it is NEVER going to be "Final", so that is also a bit of sarcasm there.
Also calling it Final Frontier is one upping Barrett and rubbing it in his face that my ship is bigger and better than his ;P

Although, i'm pretty happy with the interior layout of doors and ladders at this point, the rooms are actually functional, it got plenty storage and for the most part so i'm not messing with it thaaaat much anymore (some upgrades, testing different weapons etc.), but more because i'm scared that i mess up the interior layout up again, i already reverted back to this layout twice after messing around for 3 hours and loving the outside but hating the new inside the moment i saw it.

I just skimmed through your build video, uuuh its a bit bigger than i first thought, and the interior feels like it is a ship for a crew of 50 people while i think you can have 10 in the game.
Anyway, i'm gonna take some inspiration from yours when i build one with that bridge, but i think mine will end up a bit smaller and within the limits of the game.

I like big ships, and I cannot lie.  :-P  That said, yeah, I do tend to gravitate to larger interiors.   A friend once told me that I may be low-key claustrophobic - so it may have translated into wanting bigger spaces even in-game.   I'll try to make a smaller ship next time I get the urge to build a ship from "scratch".    I've found out that adding the number of control stations PLUS number of weapons PLUS reactors tend to increase crew size even past it's own supposed limitations automatically.  You are "allowed" at least a max of 20 crew - allegedly - in vanilla game BEFORE adding in mods that break that.     One of my other ships (my first save game ship that I posted named Mignight Train) literally has at least 34 crew ahead of any possible passengers it can take - and that's because I made it into a heavy warship by jamming in a ton of weaponry (20 in total weapons combined) and the extra reactors just to fire everything at full power.

Please list the Mods you are using to complete this build. Obviously the tolerance one and the shield count/power one you must have a mod allowing  excess engines/power etc..

This is one of the better ships I've seen someone make for this game aesthetically. Most people make stuff that looks like anything between a flying junk yard and a bunch of shipping containers with engines on them.

Thank you for the compliment!  I've always wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid, but weak lungs, and a blood disorder pretty much prevented me from joining any military service with an inside track to NASA.   The NASA space shuttle and its legacy holds a special place in my heart, and I am glad I was able to interpret it in building this ship.
