The Reshade is awesome, and really atmospheric. But I can't lie, it takes a massive steaming dump on my performance lmfao.

Ah sorry it may be due to the sharpenings I added, if you press the home button to open ReShade see if maybe turning off one of the Sharpening FX helps.  Glad you like the reshade, and sorry it's not optimized, will try and make a less power-hungry version this week! :)  Also thank you for the feedback <3

Hi there spent a day testing a new preset on my son's PC, (as it's not as up-to-date as mine), my recent upload of preset 0.03 seems to run fine on it, while still maintaining the look and feel of version 0.01, Hopefully, this works better, and you like the look of it!

SFSE is not involved or needed at all. Select the Starfield.exe when installing Reshade. I'd select and install all the Reshade effect packages. Use the HOME key ingame to open the Reshade menu. As for Reshade.ini presets, I always drop them into the starfield.exe directory manually. They work best that way.

yes but i launch the game with SFSE.exe because i need it for other mods . So , if i install reshade for starfielfd.exe, does it work if i launch the game with SFSE ?

Yes it works with SFSE, because the SFSE exe hooks into the regular starfield.exe....so it's really the starfield.exe being used. :)

Sadly I'm at a loss on what to do, have you tried running the ReShade installer and choosing the option to remove it so you can freshly install it?  Other than that I can only suggest google searching your problem incase others have had a similar issue and have posted a fix/workaround.   Sorry I can't be much more help, hope you get it working.

Download Reshade 5.9.2 and run it. It will show you a list of your games and other executables. Choose Starfield (Starfield.exe) The next screen should automatically correctly choose DirectX 10/11/12 (choosing DirectX 9 will probably crash your game) Uninstall any other old/bad Reshade installation if it gives you that choice, otherwise click next until you see all the effect packages to select. Select them all and click next. It will then download them. You'll get a big green check and you can click finish. Launch Starfield the way you normally do. You'll see the Reshade banner run at the top for a few seconds. The Home key opens the menu.

sashaz38000 a correctly installed Reshade will add 4 items to the Starfield root directory:
      dxgi.dll
      Reshade.ini
      ReShadePreset.ini
      Reshade-shaders
The main Reshade file for DirectX 10, 11, and 12 is dxgi.dll. If you have the DirectX 9 version of Reshade d3d9.dll installed your game will probably crash loading a save. Look in your Starfield folder to make sure you don't see:
      d3d9.dll
      or
      opengl32.dll
Those are the wrong Reshade dll versions and will likely not work, crash the game, and give you problems.

You're colorblind? These Reshade presets are really good. You didn't miss a beat. I set a hotkey so that I can use them both. Thank you for sharing these.

Ahh thank you, I did have my wife help me with some strange colors I managed to create, hopefully there is nothing too crazy visually, thank you for the kind feedback ;)
