Creations doesn't have comments, so I used this forum. I paid for the VTOL-Rover Hybrid Vehicle mod on Creations, great job, worth every penny. I was just wondering if you could add the VTOL feature to the Deimog, I just love the closed cockpit the Deimog offers. This is something I would also pay for to support the cause, well done :)
Hey, I will think about it! I'm not sure is Deimogs geometry suitable for this kind of feature - I mean, wheels will turn sideways no doubt, but it doesn't necessarily look pretty. Gotta test later
I like the idea, and the look good. At the same time though, why are they both bullpup? The m82 irl has the magazine in front of the pistol grip and is a semi automatic, whereas the m95 irl is a bullpup but is bolt action.
I explained more in detail here, but it looks like there may have been a plan originally for this mod to use a custom UI_Icon linkage name but that was changed sometime after it was added to Nova's weapon icon mod.
I had not tested this mod as I assumed what Nova's mod supported worked for all the mods included in it (that was def an oversight on my end).
Ultimately since this mod is a small master, I won't be able to make a patch for it to change the UI_Icon keyword to a custom one with a custom value, the best option would be to release a version with the original custom UI_Icon keyword and then Ammo HUD would support it out of the box. Feel free to DM me about it if you want to chat.
Ohh, I understand now what's going on. I did indeed send some icons to Nova, and one of them was Barret because I had plans to update this mod in the future, but I completely forgot the whole thing until now. I'll make the changes when I find time. I believe the keyword was 'bub_m82'
I really like your mod, but do you have any plans to patch the standalone version to also have the custom sounds? I didnt wanna replace a weapon since Starfield doesnt have a lot of variety anyway so getting that sick sound from the replacer in the standalone would be really cool!
Hey, no ETA at the moment. Its such a hassle to acquire those Wwise licences and set everything up, so I’ve postponed it infinitely until I have some other project where I also need it.
Hello Bub200, I've been looking for a suppressor for Hard Target for ages and you made it possible. The only problem is that it is not aligned with the Hard Target model's cannon, is there any way I can fix it myself as I'm sure you have better things to do? Would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction, thank you!
Hey, I'm not sure whats your approach on this, but this one could work. I edited the mesh and exported as .mesh. Replace your custom mods file with it. I also included my original model as .fbx l if suppressor is still not lined up. You can export it from Blender as .mesh with Geometry Bridge. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L04kSGv3cyYgzIMPvAAbZ36R3fdlIX15/view?usp=drive_link
It's lined up perfectly THANK YOU so much!! 😭 Now I'm trying to figure out why your suppressor has mixed textures here (if you have any ideas :p), I don't have any other mod replacing the hard target's suppressor or any other weapon's.
Nice. Game isn't reading textures. Are you sure you have them installed? Data\Textures\Weapons\Hardtarget
These 5 files: mod_hardtarget_suppressor_ao.dds mod_hardtarget_suppressor_color.dds mod_hardtarget_suppressor_metal.dds mod_hardtarget_suppressor_normal.dds mod_hardtarget_suppressor_rough.dds
If yes, maybe try throw them to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\Textures\Weapons\Hardtarget At some point game had troubles reading textures from installation folder and Documents folder had to be used instead.
I appreciate your help. The issue was that the rough.dds file was missing for some reasons, my bad. Your amazing mod works like a charm now! Thank you again for making this possible <3
Hey just bought your Old World Firearms at Creation Club... But why??? Why are 3 of the weapons so sickly overpowered? over 400 damage? That ruins the whole game.
Do I have more right to complain than with free mods? Yes! Because I just paid money for it and you are therefore the seller. I don't understand why there isn't a patch to adjust the damage to the game.
Explanation: If I take your mod with me to a new save game, my ability to collect other weapons will be ruined because your weapons are simply 1000 times stronger. Your mod could be so good but it totally ruins the progress in the game.
As a buyer, I expect a patch that fixes this. Because it is a problem.
Hey, ’s all good, I appreciate the feedback and I don’t view it as complaining. Yes I noticed DLC brough lots of new players with fresh saves, and the next patch does focus on damage values and introduce internal modifications, which will lower base damage but allow player to maintain weapons viable through their entire playthrough, no matter is character level 1 or 50.
Want to comment that I bought your weapon pack as well. It is very heartening to hear that you are going to work on overall balance, because for me I am very much interested in high quality additional weapons to Starfield -As long as they are balanced.
There are some excellent weapons mods out there that I just cannot justify using simply because they break the experience too heavily. Optional versions like the overpowered version, and the more balanced versions are an excellent call.
@tezyk Yes, I'm for it. Hope the modder improves afterward. Then I would also be willing to buy future projects. At the moment I would advise against it because it completely breaks the immersion flow of the game.
Gun doesn't show up in-game, nor does it (or its components) show up in the console command list. Any ideas as to what my issue is? Vortex says the standalone version is enabled fine, but it doesn't seem to be the case. 😣

Small question: is it possible to have the patch for the ammo hud mod? It is weird to use the barrett and see the hardtarget in the hud

Thanks for the response :)

Starfield Creations - Old World 50 Cal Barrett M82 - Standalone (bethesda.net)
I have no ways to test it since I don't own Xbox, so all feedback (or confirmation that it even works) is greatly appreciated :D
