This would be perfect for the Fallout Who team's announced "Starfield Who". If they 'follow' only when you're not looking? Boom, Weeping Angels. If they actually follow like becoming living entities (like Skyrim's mannequins occasionally do because they technically are entities but just coded to not move)? Bam, Autons.
haven't heard of either of these mods, can you post links to them? I found Fallout Who regenerated but not Starfield Who, not sure if right page. But Doctor Who in Fallout and Starfield is AWESOME
There is no Starfield Who yet. Hence "announced". It's coming when the official mod tools release give or take some development time. It's officially announced and even has a channel on the official Fallout Who Discord.
Under-rated and seriously fun mod - I dread seeing mannequins anywhere and everywhere now, and have had so many jumpscares.
Especially when I finished saying my vows to the love of my virtual life, concluded a beautiful ceremony by the beach, and turned to see a goddamn mannequin right behind me.
@RedxYeti Great, now how about a mod that only makes them animated, possibly also letting them hold weapons, like this mod and its addons in Fallout 4.
Mannequins are just normal npcs with movement and ai turned off, so it is easy to make them do anything an npc can do. I mean, you could just swap in your companions as the mannequins if you wanted, for example, and talk to them. The problem is the lack of any way to make a safe esm yet. But, you can do a lot with just scripts, like this mod shows.
I was going to use this, and then I realize you made them move... That's horrifying... like that game I heard about... It would be cool for a Mannequin retexture... but f*#@ the Jump-Scares. lol
Cool idea. You should make a Doctor Who's Weeping Angels thing (they only move when you are not looking at them). Or is that exacly what this mod does? I think one of Resident Evil games also used similar concept. But those still moved a bit when you looked at them. No idea can you actually animate those mannequins in Starfield but it bet it would look creepy.

They disappeared, but they reappear in other places?
(I have only tested it briefly.)
