if you want your character to switch from 1-handed to 2-handed while aiming down sight (press "aim" key/button), you can delete all files that are named "sighted_xyz"
The 2-handed animation will play fine without twitching left arm. Hip firing will still play the 1-handed animation, which unfortunately is a little bit buggy atm.
Hey Crozzbow! Any chance you can add 1st person anim’s too? I know making custom ones is kinda off the table atm, but maybe by making the left hand invisible? And only have it reappear during reloads? If thats even possible.
This mod just uses existing npc animations applied to the player character There are no tools yet for custom animations so maybe in 4-5 years we will see sth like custom melee animations.
Any chance of being able to dual wield pistols at some point do you think? I realise it would be a lot of work, but it would be really cool. I think Tomb Raider always did a brilliant job with that.
So I was wandering if anyone else still has that twitching arm bug, since I can't get rid of it no matter waht I try, and it's present both in hipfire and aiming.
it's an issue with the animation so nothing you can do about it until bethesda releases a tool that let modders make their own or edit existing animations
can you replace the crouching animation with the companion npcs? they have better animations then the player such as cover and crouch system animations are so much better then the players. is it possible to replace the crouching one?
Two handed aiming is kinda jank, for example when you aim up/down your left hand moves off the grip and the pistol won't point up/down. Still a cool mod though lol, I'll continue to use it.
Have the same issue when deleting the "sighted_xyz". When in two handed aim animation, only the left hand moves up and down and the gun remains level. However when sneaking and aiming, the two handed aim animation works as intended. Any chance of a fix for this? Love this animation for my space gunslinger!
I haven’t tried this mod on an existing save file, but on a brand new play-through, this mod has worked flawlessly. For such a simple change in animation stance/feature, it sure made a good impact! Thanks for the port!
i tried it out, unfortunately it doesn't work :( i've tried with different pistols switching 3rd person camera distance, stances etc. nothing seems to trigger it. Would really appreciate if you could take a look and try ot make it work :)

And there are no vanilla 1st person 1 handed animations to use
