I'm a fan of the Vz.58 but this mod is broken for me. Can I get some assistance? The texture appears to be bugged. Model seems to work fine. Here's a picture of Delgado using an old earth AR.
Could you please submit a bug report to the mod page with a couple pieces of extra information in case anyone else has the same issue?
Please include the following: - Version number - Installation method (vortex, manual, etc) - Location for mod files (Documents or steamapps/common) - Whether or not all mod files have been installed to the same location - Whether or not a separate mod has been used to change the installation directory - Does the custom UI icon for the weapon load in your game? - Do any of the following have bugged textures? - reflex sight, laser attachment, compensator, drum/small mag, suppressor
Other than that, it appears that the textures for the vanilla old earth assault rifle have been loaded onto your model. I believe this was caused by the textures not being installed properly by some sort of mod loader or them not being loaded along with the rest of the files for the mod possibly due to them being in separate locations.
What?!?! No Beaver Barf furniture?!?! This is an outrage!
(deep breath people, I'm joking....)
First off, the fidelity of this model to the real life VZ58 is spot on. I own 2 examples, both made in Czechia.
For the uninitiated, the Czechoslovakian government (Czechia and Slovakia amicably split in the 90s after the fall of the USSR) politely, but firmly told Moscow "no thanks" when they were tooling up to arm their military, and would develop their own 7.62X39 assault rifle when the AKM was finalized in 1954. The full title of the gun is "7,62 mm samopal vzor 58" - 7.62MM self loading rifle, model of 1958.
The Soviet Union was also starting to move away from wood furniture to a new synthetic known as Bakelite. Bakelite was the first commercially viable fully synthetic polymer, and the Soviets used it extensively for magazine bodies, buttstocks, pistol grips and fore ends on their small arms.
The Czechs used a version of Bakelite with wood chips serving to form a lattice structure for the phenolic resin to bind to and give rigidity. This was nicknamed "Beaver Barf" due to it's appearance, as the wood chips were visible in the finished furniture. Russian/Soviet bakelite furniture has a uniform orange color to it.

Thank you for your time!
The real life AK-74 has a rate of fire of 650 rpm.
The Vz 58 has a rate of fire of 800 rpm.
Much closer to the in-game rof than the AK.
(That said, I'm just using the mod that lowers the in-game rof to 600)
