I installed it following the directions, went to a workbench, looks amazing, but cannot select nor move up or down. Do I need to config something to choose which keybindings to move and select?
If your base is making income (resources) it will force a recalc of the available to be crafted items.
You can tie all your extractors to a powered switch and turn the switch off when crafting, and that resolves the issue, though perhaps not in the most elegant way.
+1 available of that item already (just for clarity, say I'm crafting distilled water, i have 3 in inventory, and 5 in my ship, and another 2 in my outpost containers, a 'total available' would be 10)
Was this was ever added? Doesn't look like it... Shame, as I'm specifically looking for a mod to show me how much of a craftable item I already have on-hand (which is usually stored in ship cargo).
Really would like to see the ability to disable the work animation, noticed with a lot of things added to the industrial workbench selection seizes during parts of the continued animation.
I don't necessarily think this had anything to do with your mod, I'm just not sure where else to ask. Suddenly I'm seeing all of this strange pink and green distortion around item displays in my workbenches? They didn't used to do this and I'm not sure what I might've changed to cause this. Any idea what might lead to this happening?
Does this conflict with Easy read dark UI crafting stations, mission boards and research lab? Or does it make them superfluous? Does it effect all the same files? I want to hold off install this but I love being able to use mods from the same author with the same controls.
First I want to say all StarUI mods are amazing and really improve game experience - at least for me.
However with this one I'm having a small issue. Industrial Workbench interface is kinda laggy and choppy. Sometimes it doesn't react to mouse movements or arrows to change desires item. Weapons and armors benches work just fine.
I'm using default settings, mod installed with MO2.
same thing is happening with me, except also the pharmaceutical workbench is acting the same way.. i feel like it wasnt always like this.. im trying to troubleshoot it now. it's difficult to highlight/select an item to craft because it's bouncing all over the place.. im gonna try disabling a bunch of mods and see if it goes away..
Edit: Idk, it works just fine when i disable the mod.. no lag or chop. if i run the mod 'compact crafting UI' instead of this mod, it works just fine.
I still think that maybe a different mod is conflicting with this one, but i could be wrong. given that UI files are completely self-contained, that may be unlikely. I'd love to know if others are seeing this. I also wonder if it's specific to a certain monitor size, aspect ratio, resolution, or refresh rate.
I'm running 34" 3440x1440, 21:9 (ultrawide), adaptive refresh rate (G-sync), V-Sync enabled, max refresh rate of the monitor is 120hz
That it take a bit more time is normal, cause StarUI Workbench fetches all data from all available recipes. That's just many more data to have and display, which naturally takes some time. But it probably shouldn't produce a noticable lag. I guess you are using many mod-added recipes? Maybe you can find out which recipe makes the workbench so laggy, and maybe that mod author can improve the performance of it by optimizing their preview model.
i have one mod that adds 3 recipes to outpost, but nothing else. no mods that add for crafting workbenches. the lag effect is persistent.. it doesnt lag and then stop after all data is loaded. honestly, I don't think it is lag, it feels more like a UI problem.. lag would imply that is slow to highlight your selection with cursor.. the effect I have is complete unresponsive. move cursor to item in list and it simply doesnt move, ever.. it just stays highlighting the same item. or if you press arrow keys to move, it does nothing. It seems that it only responds for every couple input attempts. maybe i will make a screen recording to show you. But yeah, it only happens for crafting benches, nothing else
I've got Gambit77 mods adding a tonne to the Industrial Workbench and other than the 3 or 5 second pause at the start it works fine, maybe ever so slightly sluggish if I were picky. So, as ever, troubleshooting mods for Beth games is...complicated.

I can make them white via the STAR UI Configurator and get very close, but not quite.

Actually, it's the medical workbench looking just like in the screenshots... so the mod is working. Don't like the icons though.
The files are:
Vortex suggests loading this mod before, and that's what I'll try. I'll edit this comment if that doesn't work.
UPDATE: That didn't work. So I just removed the other mod, since the StarUI series has 60FPS options anyway.
Love that you added player inventory, now what're that chances you can do ship?
Love your work!!

Could be related to that.

Anyone else noticed something like that?
