do you have plans to add other variations for the helmets that have armored faceplates (several in UC an CF) or different shapes (explorer, mining, ranger, deepseaker, etc)? If so might I suggest, for the armored faceplate ones, you cold do something like in the mod Institute of Naval Technology Glassless Cockpits.
reflections are backwards, otherwise it would be an amazing mod. However reflections are flipped. Found comments with the same problem but no solution. Very immersion breaking if anyone knows a fix
Hi JustAnOrdinaryGuy, can I have your permission to post a patch for this mod and Transparent Opaque Visors? It will still require your mod to work. By the way I already posted it, so please don't request that Nexus takes it down. I hope I get your permission to have it posted since no one else made a compatibility patch for Transparent Opaque Visors and Simple Immersive Helmets.
Due to the fact that this mod does not work with the VR mod, I removed it from my load order and now most NPC's are not wearing helmets and the game crashes when i put my helmet on. I eve started a new game and the problem persists. Not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?
Doesn't work with the new VR mod unfortunately... probably due to the fact that you have 6dof head movement without actually needing to turn your character.
I'm not using this Mandalorian mod, but I'm sure Shattered Space must include new suits with new helmets which probably won't be covered by this mod unless there's an update for them. I hope there is. I love this mod so much.
I made a bunch of esms to add support to other mods. I actually came here to check permissions to see if I could share them but it appears the author did not want modifications based on their work.
Just open the mod you want to add support for and the simple immersive helmet mod in creation kit. Find the helmet for the mod you want to edit and edit the male 1st person model to Clothes\Simple_Immersive_Helmets\Spacesuit_Helmet_Visor_1stPerson.nif. Save it, compact to light esm, convert to esm, I compact it again (maybe not needed?), and then save the esm. Don't forget to remove the esp to not load it.

Now all vanilla helmets work perfectly, but how would I go about adding compatibility with this mod?
I imagine there is some line of code somewhere I need to add. Anybody know how to go about this? This is a little beyond my expertise sadly.

There's kind of a catch though. Weapon viewmodel clips through helmet and entire helmet shifts and zooms when ADSing...
And the whole view zooms out when your weapon's holstered.
Not sure how or if these issues can be fixed but the concept is sound and it's very easy to do.
EDIT: Don't worry I've already done it with Blender.
