Some evidence have quest requirement. You absolutely don't want to grab the Carter's Gig before you find it during your quest progress, otherwise you will be soft-locked and forced to use console.
I am not the mod creator and do not know them, but these comments are utterly useless. 'This does not work for me' with no other information is as much a waste of time as my comment to this thread.
For people who are interested in getting help and not wasting everyone's time .. If this does not work for you .. here are a couple things to post:
1. Are you using Microsoft Game Pass .. if so, this mod will not work. 2. Do you have SFSE and CCR mods installed and verified working? If not, install them (see question 1 if you have Microsoft Game Pass). 3. How was this installed (Manual or using the Mod Manual Download button) 4. If Mod Manager, Which one? Vortex or Mod Organizer 2. 5. Have you completed the listed and linked quests on the main Description page? (Deep Cover , Echoes of the Past , Breaking the Bank , The Best There Is , Absolute Power , Eye of the Storm )
If all of the above are correctly done, and it does not work, then there may be an issue.
AstroGazer Uh, what? Vortex will not install "Data/BatchFiles/MyFile.txt" into "%GameRoot%/Data/BatchFiles/MyFile.txt"? Is this true? Anyone else can confirm this?
Vortex does install the dir BatchFiles and puts the txt in there, but bat files seem to work better when in Data folder only. You sure it will read it in the BatchFiles folder?
All these paths are valid for Starfield batch files: - %GameRoot% - %GameRoot%/BatchFiles - %GameRoot%/Data - %GameRoot%/Data/BatchFiles Also you can replace "%GameRoot%/Data" with "Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data" and batch files will still work (if you have this Documents Data not disabled ofc).
Just some friendly advice - something like this that affects only a single quest, especially by adding items, shouldn't be a CCR plugin. At the current state it's at, CCR is primarily intended for tweaks that affect gameplay as a whole, since events either run at the start of the game and then don't fire again, or are fired off every time a particular menu is opened.
In your particular case you seem to have your command running your bat file which then runs your scripts every time the quest log menu is opened - which will no doubt cause stuttering and lag for some users.
You have no clue how many Papyrus stuff is happening in game during the gameplay process, running script that performs a return after 2 or 3 checks with no other actions on menu opening is nothing, a single drop in the ocean.
Thank you for your post Revon. Your friendly advice makes perfect sense to me. I removed this mod and went back to an earlier save (luckily only 15 minutes old) and used the simple batch file from another mod.
Works fine for me but uh... isn't it useless if you don't have the evidence until Eye of the Storm completes? Legacy's End starts as soon as you dock with the Vigilance and the MAST support based on the evidence you've turned in already set at that point isn't it? If you don't have enough the commander tells you MAST isn't sending help before you can turn the evidence in to Toft...
It looks like the console command script is just running "bat CompleteEvidence" anyway... If you don't care about having it do this automatically, can you not just install the script and bat file and manually run bat CompleteEvidence after completing Eye of the Storm to accomplish the same thing without needing to install console command runner at all?
Yes, this is an option. I think it only fits GamePass users because there's no reason to play the game w/o SFSE and CCR for regular Steam users. However the main goal of the mod is to be plug-and-play with no manual actions.
So if I understand this - You have to first complete the quest "Eye Of The Storm" fully completed. Save, then install this mod and when I continue from save, mod will kick in and auto give all the evidence to player inventory.

Thanks, good to know.

Cool mod btw. :)

After you complete "Eye Of The Storm" > open your missions menu.
All missed evidences will be added.
