Yes, pretty much any mesh (not all, but most) have been remapped.
If the mod has a meshes folder, 99% of the time it needs to be updated, although this isn't typical, Bethesda doesn't always decide to change mesh asset mapping architecture.. as to why they did this time, your guess is as good as mine.
This is simple, yet SO good ! makes movement way more fluid, just a few suggestions / ideas:
Can you make the slide into stealth/crouch be possible by holding down the crouch instead? That way you don't have to time tapping it again? It doesn't seem to always trigger for me, so I have to spam crouch near the end of my slide, just to get it to trigger.
Also: is there anyway to make the slide a melee attack as well? Not sure how moddable it is, but think of like adding the effect of the 'Gravity Wave' ability, if you slide into an enemy (or just a simple melee hit / stagger), so you trip them up or fling them. Or maybe trigger ragdolling the npc? Or just a simple stagger / knock down like the weapon traits? It would be cool to trip up enemies at close range. And if a full knock-down is too much, maybe just a standing stagger that pushes them? No idea how "do-able" that is without the creation kit, but wanted to throw out the idea. It would definitely be cool.
Just curious, does this mod also change mantling behaviour? Because I find that my character's mantling animation to be really fast, unnatural looking.
