If you put these two lines in your custom it pretty much negates the spring back fStarMapGalaxyRotateDecayPercent=0.00001 fStarMapGalaxyRotateMinDecay=0.00001
love it wish i knew or could figure how you did it, ive been trying to all this for about 3 years now, and i just started understanding xedit it was like a light bulb moment, honestly when i was messing with fallout 4 i was doing way way to much at once to many mods, now its easier with starfield to be from the beginning, could this be done in xedit? im only asking to learn i search for hours and couldnt find anything related to to the map rotation i found a few things but to no avail.
It's not the full galaxy map overhaul that we desperately need, but it is such an important fix to make the damn thing less infuriating to use. Thank you so much.
Hey friendo! Love this and your lockpick mod, but it seems the latest SFSE update broke'em both. Wasn't sure if you were aware due to the lack of comments stating so. Thanks again for the great mods!
FYI i tried NoBark's ini suggestion in my custom ini and gldump's setgs in my batch file , both to no avail. Mod itself works great tho! thank you for the work!
i'm having some trouble getting this mod working. i did install the mods in the wrong order at first, but I have since uninstalled and reinstalled just the no rotate mod to no effect. do i have to uninstall all the required mods?

Edit: Found the answer, posting here for others. The suggested ini edits should go under [StarMap].
Don't like using a DLL.
