Super clean. Thank you for fixing this painful eyesore!
Would love to see you work the same magic on the ugly, blurry signage in the rest of the city. Seeing those awful signs the moment you enter the spaceport is almost anger inducing.
What really bugged me was the missing dots ("dead pixels") in the scrolling letters.
In our time, this is normally caused by a faulty magnet behind a rotating disc (the way oldschool scrollers used to work was a magnet behind a rotating disc with a yellow and a black side), or a dead LED.
The dead pixels would be static, and the letters moved over them as they scrolled past, but here they move with the letters.
Interesting, didn't know about the magnet mechanism! But yes, it made no sense to me either trying to simulate dead LEDs this way given the nature of these screens, so it looked a bit silly as a result.
Also, the city has janitors walking around wiping billboards here and there, so it leads to believe even more that these things would be addressed (we'll call it a bad case of temporary negligence since there were a couple dozen 'dead pixels' spread out across all the words). Everything else around the city is in perfect working condition as far as I can tell 😁
Update: Well all this has led me to give it the proper LED treatment it deserves compared to my v1.2, so feel free to check the new "After" screenshot and grab the 1.3 file if you like ;)

It's a crap way of emulating nostalgia.

It looks infinitely nicer now. It's wild how something so small yet prominent from the start of the game was overlooked. Appreciate you making his!
This look soooo seggsy now
