Thx for this mod, unfortunately it also reveals once again Bethesda´s way of dealing with game engine limitations, they make water surfaces fuzzy to hide bad reflections in scenery. Vanilla Skyrim is a prime example of this.
Bc bethesda exactly knows that their s#*! will sell, it have to be in a playable state just enough so something like fo76 wont happen again. But in terms of innovation or moving forward from that 20yr old game design bethesda just doesnt give a shit.
Cause gpus that can actually make use of rtrt are still out of reach for most people Thats exactly it, even most of the NVIDIA cards that claimed to support raytracing do not in fact do so in a usable way without killing framerates. The amount of people with super high end cards is so tiny, it makes raytracing irrelevant for the vast majority of potential customers, devs cant afford to waste much effort catering to such an small portion of a potential playerbase, it would destroy game sales completely. That will change in time though, looks like Intel is making strong headway with raytracing & affordability, also AMD is pushing forward stronger every round. NVIDIA doesn't seem to care about it, or all their cards would be capable, not just the 4080/90.
Does this mod still work with the most recent update? I extracted to: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data but don't notice a difference. Am I missing something?
Installed with MO2, but my MO2 says it's a dummy plugin and it contains no records. There also is a strikethrough on the name of this mod in the plugin list.
Does this work with gamepass? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but nothing I do seems to be working. I've made sure that the DATA folder symlink is correct (I even ran the modfix tool and it explicitly says that the symlink is working) I see the both part 1 and part 2 files under in the DATA folder. I've edited the starfield.ini and made sure both filenames are present in same row. Anything wrong I did? I also have the starfield optimized texture mod I don't know if this is a conflict. But I tried removing it and it still doesn't fix the problem. I've been staring at the pond in the MAST district to confirm if the mod is working. Water still looking green
