    The Starfield update released on June 9th, 2024 (1.12.30) has rendered this mod pointless. There is no need to install it. You can safely remove old versions.

    SFPTE version 1.3 is provided as a workaround for everyone hardcoding it as a dependency. It acts as a placeholder and has no effect.

    but like.. plugins.txt doesn't work though. Maybe this mod needs to be brought back? Or are mods that require plugins.txt just obsolete and we aren't intended to use them anymore?

      Still working fine for me (Steam; 1.14.74). Not really, no. Nope, I'm still using older mods that list Plugins.txt Enabler as a Requirement, and everything works fine on my end; some older mods still work, while some don't, depends on its compatibility with 1.14.74.

    Yeah, that's a complete load. You need this or esm mods will not work. Like, you literally cannot enable them without this mod. Idk about manual, but in Mod Organizer 2, it will not work without this.

      Umm, you can enable mods from the in-game Creations page, via its Load Order page (which I honestly almost never use, lol)...or...you can enable mods by directly editing the Plugins.txt file, using any text editor like Notepad or Notepad++ (which is the easiest method, and my preferred go-to method for load ordering, hehe).

    Haha, I'm still using this mod, with the new Starfield Update 1.14.74, and it still works fine, hehe (Steam; Manual installs). Though admittedly, I only use this mod as a means of organizing my load order, since I don't use Vortex/MO2, and the in-game Creations load ordering is meh, lol.

    Again, THANK YOU Nukem, for this hella fire mod, and it's hella essential service since launch, and still useful even today!

    1. we need him to update it to work better ! he says its useless ! sfse has its own pluggin enabler now ! but he is mistaking sfse pluggin enabler is bullsht ! 90 percent of my mods are not working unless i have pluggin tx enabler of his !

      It's more likely you have other mods that need updating (and/or your game itself might need updating if you're using an older version?). This mod really/legitimately isn't needed anymore, for real (as mentioned by both Larian and this mod's author). If you're using any mod managers like Vortex or MO2, then there's also a chance they could also be causing errors, as they are known to occasionally mess up installs/uninstalls (I only do Manual installs and everything works fine for me.) I only use the plugins.txt file, myself, heh.
    3. ITS FUNNY ! NOT YOUR WORDS ! THING U MANTION IN THE END ! I DID ACTUALLY ! I TRIED TO WRITE IN THAT I FORGOT ITS WIERD NAME IN STARFIELD DOCUMENT FOLDER ! I WRITEN THE MODS I WANTED TO APPLY AUTMATICLY WITHOUT BOTHERING MYSELF DOING BAT CODE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT ! GUESS WHAT HAPPEND ? NO NEED I TELL YOU HEHEHE ! IT DISABLED ALL OF MY OTHER MODS AND ONLY ENABLED THAT ! AND YES MY FRIEND I DO INSTALL WITH THE VORTEX ! THING IS I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO WORK WITH MOD ORGENIZER OR EITHER DO I HAVE THE DAMM SOFT THE RIGHT VERSION AND FILE OF THE MOD ORGENIZER ! AND THING IS ! some wierd thing im facing in the installation my mod with vortex if i put the installer mod orgenizer the vortex instead of mod orgenizer ! im installing with vortex but i mean when im installing them it asks which mod orgenizer u have and i say for example vortex after installation and active ! it cause some wierd yello error that vortex doesnt support some code anymore so let me fix it or install them with mod orgenizer so i choose mod ogenizer in the options ! iidk its working or not but its installing ! my game version is 1.14.74 ! i alwayse keep my game updated first ! second ! i 90 percent of the time when i run vortex i press on check for update for my mods and software ( software has autoupdate active so no need to check it it check itself and install it !) 3rd about pluggin txt you mantioned ! no it doesnt and i already said he is mistaking and whoever else saying it ! cause all of my mods are update ! some are so cant be updated unless i have a new link for it which i dont know where to find it !so when its updated how u say its outdated mate !an i maybe forgot to mantion i have both pluggin txt enable and the manager too ! which each time i wanna run the game first i run that ! and its checks for my mods and all of the options of my mods are disabled ! so i reenable it and run the game ! ut i have to do same thing next damm time

  5. Is the game supposed to generate one on its own now? I just installed the new "Shattered Space" DLC. SFSE, Address Library, Unofficial Patch, Community Patch are all updated and installed. "Shattered Space.esm" keeps turning itself off (an unchecked plugin in my MO2 right panel) after starting the exiting the game. Old saves were unusable, had to scrap 'em. I could use some help here. There is no "Plugins.txt" in my C:\Users... \Starfield Crash folder where it has been in the past. Am I missing something?

      download the starfield dll in the mod organizer 2 discord channel and that should fix that

      I'm sure I'm being really dumb but where do you put the dll? Just root directory or in data?

      You really shouldn't need it since the June 9th, 1.12.30 release, but in case your situation still requires it, it should be installed here: 

      Installation



      • For manual SFSE installs, place SFPluginsTxtEnabler.dll in the corresponding Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins folder. An example path is: C:\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins\SFPluginsTxtEnabler.dll



      • For manual ASI loader installs, place SFPluginsTxtEnabler.asi in the game root directory next to Starfield.exe. An example path is: C:\XboxGames\Starfield\Content\SFPluginsTxtEnabler.asi

      For Steam installations, you or your mod manager of choice would have to create the SFSE folder and the Plugins folder inside the SFSE folder. Those are not part of the base game. 
  6. nukem my friend if the update made the mod pointless ! do you mean it has one of its own ? do you mean the starfield has plugin txt of its own ? first i completely dont realize what is plugin txt anyway ! is the window opens when you press the ` bottun and then u add bat and .......... codes ! if that is that i saw that yeah and i type my code in that ! but im wondering a question many of my mods are requiring this mod to run smoothly ! what about them if i dont instal ur mod for new update does them run smoothly too?

    Idk if it's this mod causing the issue, or just the useless, unwanted, creations update that nobody asked for, but some of the mods I wanted to play with were hardcoded to require this mod, and did not show up at all, let alone function without it, so I downloaded this mod, which I understand does almost nothing, however now every single time I launch the game I'm forced to go into the stupid Creations menu and enable all mods even though I use VORTEX. 

    I HATE this update and literally nobody but the greedy and dumb asked for Creation Club crap, the rest of us were fine with mods you DON'T have to pay for.

      hi anychance you have linked companion suits mod instaled? i disbled it and all my mods load correctly in creations now w/o auto-disabling

      Im not so sure... I finally fired starfield back up last night and added mods, none of them worked until i added this.  So, thank you for making this :)

      The in-game loadorder/mod list is useless, it crashes 90% of the time, and when it doesnt, something else goes wrong

    Hey, guys. Need some help. One single file keeps going to the top of load order without the * in front of its name every time I load a save. Its the first time this happens to me, and only with this mod. Would somebody know why?

      What's the mod that keeps going to the top? Also, there should be no reason to use this mod anymore since the 1.12.30 update.

    If using MO2, be sure to update to MO v2.5.2.  Doing so fixed my need to install this file.
