I though I was the only one. Before I seen this mod I actually restarted another play thru. I was a Level 20 and could not find where I had marked to track a certain resource and keep seen the little icon during my game. I couldn't take it anymore so I had to start the game. Since I had marked to track at the very beginning of the game.
Thank you for making this mod I'm sure it will save someone from this headache. I also think they should implement a stop tracking ( or reset the tracking ) universal option not just in the project.
To all the people asking "why tho" allow me to present another use-case:
Wanting to track things to see them like in Burden Me Not (or even just base game) through the Scanner, but not wanting every goddamn item in lists to have the little symbol all the time
Okay, but now figure out how to simply track and untrack resources individually. =D
I jest, of course that's what you would've done -- and if it were so easy, I'm sure somebody would have done it by now. Fingers crossed that it isn't far off.
thanks came to the conclusion that tracking just broke after sifting through everything I could track for a couple hours and finding nothing to untrack I thought a completed research project might've done it but none of the project materials completely matched what was still being tracked it's a bit of a mystery but I'll never track anything again until modders fix its flaws
Nobody knows how to read? SO most of you see a mod and immediately download without reading? Author clearly states that they do not want to sift through possibly 100's of items just to push disable tracking one. Pretty straightforward and basic. Once near end game or familiar with the game this isn't needed for some people. So in case anyone doesn't want to find that one item they tagged day 1 this mod is for you! Starfield brings toxic users so strange keep up the qol stuff don't let uneducated people bring you down!
Why? Did you go through all the trouble of making a mod because you couldn't figure out how to stop tracking things? If you're tracking items, you kind of want to see this.
Why post this? Did you go through all the trouble of posting a comment because you couldn't figure out how to read the description? If you are commenting in a mod discussion section, you kind of want to read it.
