Judging by the reception, however, it seems digiframes are not going to be worth revisiting.
I think there's another lesson I should take away from this release: if I wouldn't use it myself, why would I expect others to? Because I genuinely have no interest in using these, I just thought it would be a neat idea ha.
I think they would have faired better as posters or something larger/more noticeable.
Just in case you didn't find them yet or didn't know, some of these actually DO replace some of the paintings/posters. I still find the mod really great. I know digiframes aren't something that you really pay attention to, but it's nice to be going along and stop for a second and see something small but nice.

To answer your specific question, they are 1024x1024 -- which is funny, because the actual in-game digiframes aren't perfectly square.
