Yep, I'm aware of that mod. For me personally, if I have a choice between two mods that do the same thing, and one of those mods does not require the use of an .ESM plugin, then I will usually choose the one that has no plugin, depending on how crucial/important I find that mod to be. The less plugins one has, the better, to prevent errors from starting to occur when you start getting close to the plugins soft-cap limit (which is already known to be much smaller with Starfield specifically, than past Bethesda games). I try to keep my plugins count under 100, preferably. Though I'm aware that it more so depends on the size of the plugin itself (small plugins = you can have more; large plugins = you should have less). However, there have already been some people whom have experienced their game breaking down even at around 90 to 110 plugins. Hopefully Bethesda actually acknowledges and fixes this. :)
EDIT: As of Starfield Update 1.14.70, the plugin limit issue has been fixed by Bethesda.
@Inerael Technically, you don't really need to use ANY mod to get the effect that this mod and that other mod does. You can simply add a line into your StarfieldCustom.ini file and get the exact same result. Using this mod (or that other one) is just easier/more convenient for those who don't know the .INI method. But for me personally, the less plugins I use the better (less likely to have unforeseen errors/conflicts/problems), hehe.
1. go to documents/mygames/starfield: - create an txt file with name: StarfieldCustom.ini (the .ini not visible in the windows-explorer) - than copy the follow rows in it:
Thanks so much for this! I've spent the last hour trying to get some weapons to fit on a weapon rack thing on a wing but one side is working fine, whereas the other is clipping in and saying it can't go there. Ugh, this mod fixed it, thanks! :D
You see a lot of this, because if you look close, you see a lot of weapons are asymmetrical. They have projections on one side or another that don't flip when you mirror them.

If money did everything as you imagine, Elon Musk would already be on Mars. The Mod does what it says it does and that's it. Beyond that, it crosses the line into cheating, you should look in another session.
Is there a way to completely remove the restriction when overlapping modules?
I built an M-Class ship, but I want to be able to put a stack of 1x1s in the middle for a side entry. Try as I might, I can't find a way to accomplish that, because it won't let me put a stack in the middle. 😡
Seconding this, I'd like to use this to stack multiple engine modules on the same attachment point (completely overlapping each other) so I don't have to edit the stats on the 1 engine that has a good aesthetic.
I figured out how to make it a little better. If you go into the txt files that contain the bat insturctions that you install you can make the value larger. For example the Bat Big is -1, and the Bat Huge is -5. If you go more negative it further removes the restriction. I'm changed my huge to say -10 and now i'm not seeing anymore issues
Woohoo, still working as advertised, with the new Starfield Update 1.11.36 !! \o/ ♥
EDIT: Also with 1.12.30/32 ! o7
Tested both the "Big" and "Huge" commands, and functionalities are intact! (Steam, Manual install)

Thank you for sharing these console commands in an easy to use format. One of Bethesda's own ship designs was not reproducible because the cockpit collided with a structural part. I wanted to upgrade the cockpit to one of a higher standard, like-for-like, but it was colliding. Very frustrating. All sorted, plus I can now hide the grav tank and shielded cargo inside of a structural part so it doesn't ruin the shape of the ship. Fun!

(under Spaceship can you enter the size of the overlap. You can here take 2, if 4 for you too mutch)

Damned stupid, if you ask me.
You can have the overlap easier:
1. go to documents/mygames/starfield:

- than copy the follow rows in it:
