xEdit's release doesn't have any bearing on this plugin's development. The capabilities I'm currently waiting for need to be implemented on the script extender side. Good news is that there's been progress on this front. However, I currently don't have a lot of time for modding, so it's been quiet here.
In any event, I plan on at least integrating the screenshots into the UI in the near term. HDR support is probably not going to happen soon, though.

I assume that this issue is not related to current mod. - My videocard (4090) driver settings are adjusted for SDR colors in standard RGB mode. - I don't use SpecialK. - I use many mods including some SFSE plugings. - I suspect that it may be some SFSE mod which supposed to fix color banging (forgot it's name) and it configured to not change color mode and leave RGB. - my mods collection works correctly, and it seems only photo mode is broken. - I will try to disable some SFSE mods and test.
I was crashing when saving also, I narrowed it down to this mod Native (Auto)HDR and Color Banding Fix conflicting. Probably because that mod breaks screenshots for some reason.
Interesting, I too use the "Native (Auto)HDR and Color Banding Fix" mod (for the color banding fix only, not HDR) and have no issues with screenshots. Do you have HDR enabled @DOOMBASED?
The game's native screenshot functionality can't handle different formats (other than R8G8B8A8) for the main render target properly. R10G10B10A2 causes color corruption, and R16G16B16A16 outright crashes (presumably because it's bigger). You can fix that by setting ImageSpaceBufferFormat to 0 so it's unchanged - but it'll result in color banding getting worse again, of course. I've tried to figure it out because of photo mode having the same issues but never got anywhere. Fun fact, the game also has an unused - but working - HDR screenshot functionality. Couldn't manage to replace the photo mode screenshots with this, however. Plus, it outputs a .hdr file so that's not great anyway. You also don't need a HDR monitor to use that, btw - it's just the ImageSpaceBuffer's format that's causing this. And there's some benefit in using a better format even without HDR.
Thanks for the context. Yeah, I'm aware of the built-in HDR screenshot function - it's the same one that I use (but with the HDR flag turned off). Shame the engine doesn't appear to have support for tonemapped SDR screenshots.

Read the description:
it says it saves the png, but there's no interface to show it and there's no tellin when there will be.
It's not a mod, it's a waste of time.

Saves are not corrupted, they are created and the game crashes. I can load them without issues when I open the game again.
You also don't need a HDR monitor to use that, btw - it's just the ImageSpaceBuffer's format that's causing this. And there's some benefit in using a better format even without HDR.
