I'm basically downloading this to study how these radio deals are made and am hoping it is possible to make several radios into one mod like RadioExt in Cyberpunk 2077 does and there is no song limit like in Fallout 4 or Skyrim or even Cyberpunk 2077. I had several ideas but was waiting for a mod like this to exist, being able to put our own jams in is truly a dream!
My files are .mp3 I think the original Starfield Galactic Radio mod is outdated. I read that someone here made an update for it https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/12333
Downloaded via both MO2 and manually, but both times I get an extraction error that gives me just Appalachia Radio and most of Diamond City--nothing else. Any chance of a reupload or alternate DL site?
EDIT: FOUND IT! https://www.starfieldmodhub.com/fallout-radio/
yea man I think the galaxy news radio.. idk.. it just started blasting out him ranting about slayton industries some ai generated stuff and i had to shut down pc to turn it off. some of us have girlfriends lmao
The Black Box is my favorite station! That junk is hilarious!!! You demonic hell spawn rat folk are just trying to keep us from hearing the truth Willie is putting out there! You're all Combatech shills!
And also... That isn't this mod. That is in the base Galactic Radio mod. This one is good though. The Fallout radio music really gives the game a whole new vibe.
I think the original radio station creator threw that in as like a GTA style talk show radio with Alex Jones AI, and the original mod pulls in from that website (if you take a look at the .ini code) But if Aliens are out in space, do you have a better suggestion for someone prepared to announce it? And don't say Neil DeGrasse Tyson 🤣🤣🤣
Since nobody seems to have commented on this, the "Alex Jones" parody radio show is part of the original mod and is not part of this mod. If you want you should be able to remove that station using the instructions on the page of the original radio mod that this is a dependency of
Aw shucks! I'm playing the Beta(Patch) version of the game, which does not support SFSE, so I'm missing out, for now, on what I was looking for-EXACTLY THIS MOD!
This feature is still not fully functional, according to the modder of the base mod. Also, my mod contains mp3 files and not web URLs. So you will have to wait until Starfield Galactic Radio offers this feature.
But also check the .toml file for the false/true options
No that one wasn't working so I removed it. I did open the file on my computer and it did play there, just not in game. Sorry forgot to mention that earlier
Sorry to bother but I'm coming from Starfield Radio Mod and I've had 0 chance of getting the mod to work, and out of curiosity i installed your mod to see if it would run just in case, it was just my set up in the .toml file but sadly your mod doesn't work for me either. was there any special tweaking for sfse or the starfield ini file you had to mess with? I've been trying to get the radio to work for 6 hours, and it doesn't even play with the default playlists. sorry again for bothering you about it just figured you got yours to work so maybe I'm missing something.
Okay. No problem. Let's take a look. First of all, the Starfield Radio mod must work. My mod only adds mp3 tracks. Not relevant. Ignore this one for now.
- You need Starfield v. 1.7.33 - SFSE newest version (v. 0.1.3) [from now on you must always start Starfield via sfse_loader.exe! No longer Starfield.exe] - Starfield Galactic Radio (v. 1.0.2)
Then ingame you use the Num keys. (In my case I have to press the NumLock key first, so that the numpad is active) And then I start the radio with Num0. (At the top right of the screen a popup appears)
Was actually just about to edit my post to say i solved it, it was my fault i use a mini keyboard so i kept key binding keys i thought were on my main board but was also on the numpad that i don't have. -_- The list of binds has multiples due to the obvious fact there are multiple keys and they don't specifically state which is which, i just conveniently kept binding to ones i cant use.

I actually only added mp3s to this mod.

It only works if the radio mod has also been updated.

I have not found a pure RNV or pure MMR video, they all sound the same. Sorry.
I was afraid that would happen, but it worked for me, so I kept the comma in.
I'll make a little note about it.
Updated :)

Try this steps :)
THANK YOU ANYWAYS! Kudos and endorsed!
