Beth's biggest project since ages... - Textures artists providing stunning, breathtaking, high definition textures in 4K after months of work. - MS to textures artists: 'awesome work guys, thanks!' - MS to Todd: 'ok your guys did great but we just need 1K/2K blurry textures as it's supposed to run on potato consoles' - Todd to MS : 'I get it but may I suggest to create 2 packages: original textures for PC users and a blurry one for consoles?' - MS to Todd: 'We appreciate your concern however please do focus on costs optimisations Todd! Think about our poor shareholders!! Also, you should think about releasing HD pack as a paid DLC in a couple of months. And in the worst case scenario, your mod community will do the work for free on your behalf.' - Todd to MS: 'ok boss...' ... *holy sh**, I seriously need to retire* (...) - Textures artists after the release: 'ok we need a new job' :p
This & your 'Stone' mod are a very heavy hit to my FPS (obviously FPS hit, just surprised by how much). 4070 OC, 12600k. Unfortunately had to uninstall.

I reinstalled SavrenXs mods and my FPS is a solid 120. If you have issues try reinstalling, clear nvidia cache, restart pc. Not sure what exactly fixed it but it works great now.
Do you have any other texture mods? My guess is that the addition of this mod to other texture mods might have finally made you reach your VRAM limit (12GB on the 4070?), and that's what is probably tanking your FPS. If this is the case, it's not this particular mod, but any other mod that will take you over the VRAM limit.
Not sure what happened the first time, but you got me to attempt a re-install to check on VRAM and my FPS is back. Not sure what happened with the first installation, but with all of SavrenXs mods I'm running steady.

Not like Karen users who always blame modders even though their own knowledge is lacking, but write posts like we don't know how to optimize the game.
The textures are the same size as vanilla and the same format, it is impossible to make the game heavier and drop fps that drastically.
