hi, for information you forgot one file concerning the high power shot. normal and silent shooting makes almost no noise, I just corrected it for myself 833610506.wem this one. for those who have problems regarding the sound of the mod. Sorry for my english i'm french.
little update, I'm making a mod for my personal use. After several tests where I isolate the sounds of the shooting sequence (I replace the weapon sounds with those of doom/doom eternal). it seems that these two sounds "56468904" "WPN_Hand_Rifle_MagShot_Trigger_Release_01.wav" And "833610506" "WPN_Hand_Rifle_MagShot_Trigger_Press_01.wav" give a lot more depth to the shot. when I add these 2 files to yours, this fixes the problem of "mute" sound. I hope this helps
I manually install in to my exe folder as anything I've ever put in my documents folder breaks textures for everything. I did a lot of research and the best option to fix it was disable motd and the use of the my games data. All of my other sounds and textures work in the exe folder including your hard target mod
Hmm strange, at least the Hard Target one is working. I'm on Game Pass so maybe this is an issue with the Steam version I'm not able to test properly (so I've been installing all my mods directly into Documents\My Games\Starfield since that certain Baka mod doesn't work on Game Pass without SFSE).
Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if anyone else reports issues, hopefully this becomes easier to diagnose once proper mod tools are out (pretty annoyed at how Bethesda has gone about their file structure for this game)
I didn't use baka I edited my custom ini (in the docs) and then deleted the docs data but yes steam and gamepass are packaged differently so their file locations are different
These are the lines of code to disable motd [General] bEnableMessageOfTheDay=0 uMainMenuDelayBeforeAllowSkip=0 bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 SIntroSequence=0
It is also Microsoft's fault for the gamepass file structure it's all about drm and stopping people from accessing files (not like that did anything considering the crack was out before I knew the game was out) Bethesda doesn't want to restrict modder access where as microsoft just wants to sell game pass subs

Are you installing these files directly into the Documents\My Games\Starfield folder, or with MO2?

omg it's still changing it so I had to break it up
Forget what it does but it does something I believe planetary border restrictions
