@Texasdrummer96 you just saved my playthru! My load time was up to 20 minutes, and getting worse. I was looking all over, which is how I found this mod. Then I saw your comments, removed Starsim Mining Conglomerate, and my game loaded in 1 minute! It's a shame, because that mod looks solid actually; I hope they can figure out what is causing this major issue with load times.
Yes thank you @Texasdrummer96 good to know it is that mod. The good news is according to the Discord channel of the author of the mod there is a fix to be released as part of 1.11 patch waiting for approval (likely from Bethesda).
For anyone who has landed here from trying to search for solutions for why their loading times are getting longer and longer (7+ minutes for me!) I might have a solution. StarSim: Mining Conglomerate is the cause. If you have this mod, uninstall or untick the box on MO2 and/or Vortex and test your loading times out. I went from 7+ minutes to about 8-10 seconds.
I still use the mod you mentioned after having issues with long save game load times. I read the thread on Discord from the team behind the mod, as I thought it surely had to be a known issue, and it is.
The fix for me still lets me use the mod. Here is what I did, and they refer to as the 'PuP' method: 1. On the left part of the map is a system called Pup. Something is weird with this system in that it acts as some sort of debug system, meaning nothing is there, it is you being there that counts. Go there. 2. Make a hard save. 3. Disable Starsim. 4. Load back into the game; you will see your load time go fast again. 5. Make a new hard save. 6. Re-Enable Starsim 7. On load, let Starsim re-do its thing on the initialization. 8. Future load times should be fine.
I read it is an issue with papyrus and heave active scripts running. Does not matter how good your system is, it is the initialization of all of the lines within this limited environment that causes issues. I will say I am here now though because my saves are now about 1-2 minutes so hoping this mod helps.
I updated all my mods today. I shouldn't have done that because now my level 107 character with over 900 hours won't load.
I downloaded this mod thinking it would help. It didn't.
Game was perfectly fine last night... now it simply won't load. Disk usage is at 0%. Was stuck on a loading screen for almost two hours before giving up. Decided to uninstalling my mods and creations... which might have been a problem because I saved in my lightly modded ship.
Does anyone know of any mods that cause game-breaking issues? Other characters work mostly fine but now I have a lot of missing textures. I blame the Star Wars Weapons and Melee mod personally... everything was okay until I installed that...
Thanks! You have saved me from a permanent blinding blue screen after landing. I suspect the culprit is an incompatibility of this mod "Always in the cockpit upon landing" with others I'm using. Photo mode was working ok, and I've been workarounding it with "setimagespacemodifiersenable 0", but it was returning after loading the game. Now its clean, I can see again.
You, sir, have returned me my sight! Thank you! 😂
EDIT: Using your bat for testing I've discovered than the stuck imagespace modifier was 194259, so anyone experiencing the same bug only need to use "rimod 194259".
Loading my saves is getting worse with every level taking up to 5 minutes after death, etc.. I have investigated this for the past week trying: -clearing direct x cache -reinstalling the game -Loot does my load order in Vortex (116 mods - 78 plugins) -deleting all older saves (only 10 save files now - 15,000k largest one - level 110) - looking for mod conflicts - can't find them THEN, I found this ---------https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13498650-slow-save-game-loading-issue-fyi/ After I disabled STARSIM MINING CONGLOMERATE my load times went to ZERO (very fast PC - 4090, etc.etc.) & it's second from LAST in load order... Anyone else having save loading issues? Test this please I am not sure what is breaking that mod or conflicting with it. I also use SPACE MINING for increased drops but it didn't make a difference. Thanks
PsycloneTM YOU ARE A HERO SIR. My +1,000 hours saved game (with +52mb) was taking more than 20 minutes to load. Now it only takes just 1 minute; Amazing work man
1. MANUAL Download the 2 files from "Clear Imagespace Modifiers - BATCH" 1. Place Fiximod.txt into your game directory (the same folder that contains Starfield.exe). 2. Place (or add to) the StarfieldCustom.ini in to Documents\My Games\Starfield 3. Download by mod manager "Clear Imagespace Modifiers - CCR". Vortex (or MO2) will automatically install the file where it belongs. or if you want to install it Manually: Extract the zip file using an extractor into steam folder, in my case it's: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE\plugins\ConsoleCommandRunner 4. In game press ~ and then write "bat Fiximod" (without the quotes)
that's it! now load time is quickkkkkkkkkk
many thanks to the modder!
I can't get this to work and I need this desperately! my load game take about 15 minutes. could anyone please help me with a simple instructions of how to use this mod ?
You're a life saver! My 290 hour save was taking 40 minutes to load at this point. Just saved the text file and ran the command from the console and it's gone from 40 minutes to 18 seconds! Thank you so much!
