Thanks for your guidance. With little tweaks here and there this is what I came up with :D. Your preset looks really young like she is 20. My goal was to make her appear a little older and I think I achived that. What do u think?
Not sure what the hell I'm doing wrong but my character is looking like a damn transvestite after following your instructions. In the first image it is showing body type 1, but for me that is the male body? Do I apply these edits to that, or is it meant to be on body type 2? Also when I select preset 37 (as someone mentioned in the comments below), that is also a male preset for my game...
Could someone please clarify this for me, as I have wasted almost an hour trying to get this right. Thanks :)
(i'm sure there's easier/better way but this is what i do since i'm used to it)
Here's what I did to modify Sarah, and pretty much all my companions/crew.
This method does involve editing your own looks and copy/pasting it onto an npc.
you will lose your player's look so if you want to save it, go transfer it onto some rando npc to pull from after
your companion will also lose their original look to, so if you want to keep that to switch back to later, go transfer it onto some rando npc to pull from after
and by rando npc, i'm referring to an npc that you know doesn't disappear and can pull from later on down the line
open console with ~ and type in "slm player" (no quotation marks)
face editor will then come up
edit your player's build, face and hair, and whatnot. in this preset's case, use profile 37!!
(i'm pretty sure build transfers onto companion from my testing, but I may be wrong idk)
after finishing sliders confirm and exit player edit.
go into third person view where you can see both yourself and companion at the same time on screen
open console, left click on your character so id comes up, and then type in "this" (without quotations of course)
(the this command will pull id and show it in console for use later, my id shows up as 00000014)
when your player id shows up in console, left click on your companion, make sure it says something like NPC Sarah Morgan 00654324 EP or whatever
(scroll wheel will switch between ID's but you may have to exit and go outside. if inside a building or ship, clicking doesn't work for me to properly show NPC 65406546 EP)
once you click on companion and it shows their id on screen, while making sure their id is still showing on screen, in console type "capp" plus your character's id
so for example, it'll look like this "capp 00000014" or something
after pressing enter, your edited look should now be on your companion and should stick there for the forseeable future, my companions haven't changed even after i restarted game and pc a few times.
I can propose slightly modified method I came up with:
Make NPC you want to change their appearance to follow you
Execute in console coc qasmoke to teleport to your personal cloning facility :)
Execute player.placeatme 299f6d 2 to spawn 2 dummy Ghengis Khans (could be any NPC)
Click on one Ghengis and execute capp 14 to clone your current appearance
Click on NPC you want to change their appearrance and remember their <refID>
Click on another Ghengis and execute capp <refID> (use <refID> from previous step)
Execute slm 14 and change your appearance as you wish
Click on your companion and execute capp 14 to give him the desired appearance you currently have
Click on Ghengis with your original appearance and remember their <refID>
Execute 14.capp <refID> (use <refID> from previous step)
Click on Ghengis with your original appearance and execute disable to remove him from premises
Execute coc NewAtlantisSpaceport to teleport to New Atlantis Spaceport
If you want to change appearance of non-follower NPC, before teleporting to QASmoke cell click on him beforehand, then execute moveto player while in QASmoke, then do it in reverse when you're at NPC's original location (if you don't want to travel them normally, its id for coc can be found with help <locationName> 0 cell). You can of course also use his <refID> by executing <refID>.moveto player
Whenever you want to restore NPC original look, just teleport to QASmoke and his clone will (hopefully) be there for your shenanigans.
I have not seen one single Sarah Edit that looks better than Sarah, and most of them do not even LOOK like Sarah.
This one at least still looks like Sarah; if not 15 years younger. So I'll give you props for that! Still a little too young for my expectations of Sarah so I won't call it better. But it is at least a good edit.

I'd love to know how to edit NPCs like this. Sadly, there are not yet tutorials available.
Can you share with me how it's done?
Thanks for your contribution. I'll be endorsing when I am able.
