It's a dead mod. Sure, there's the Clock Widget Temp Fix, but it takes a long time for an update with each Bethesda update, so I gave up and booted it out of my mod list.
The Temp Fix mod is usually updated the next workday after the SFSE's update because I leave Starfield on my workplace PC (I'm no longer actively playing it). Just be patient.
I lost a dear friend yesterday. All my other mods were either updated or already compatible so I decided to let the update happen, but Clock Widget didn't survive the process. I only had Clock Widget for three short weeks, but in that time I came to cherish it. I still hold out hope it will come back to us someday, but until that day I will keep flying through the starfield. You can take my Clock Widget, but you can't take the sky from me.
The other mod ("Scanner Encumbrance Display With Time") unfortunately doesn't show the in-game time on the watch when not in hand scanner mode, and also displays encumbrance in a fairly distracting location on the hand scanner interface; the mod author also just indicated they don't plan to update it to accommodate requests for improvements - though others are welcome to edit the mod file. But for now, until someone releases a more customizable mod to display in-game time, I think that's about it.
Neanka I know about other mods, but I like your minimalist style clock. Would be really great to have it in the modlist showing local in-game time. So, if you have a chance, please build it 😊
@neanka, you might already know this, but when updating please add https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/3256 as a requirement so people can keep using it when the game updates :)
I've been playing with this mod a few days and I've never seen this issue. did you enable the clock in any other menus? gimme a log file from documents\My Games\Starfield\SFSE\Logs
Unfortunately, a log file from your mod doesn't appear in that folder :(

The name of the log is a reference to my very first mod Time On Loading Screens. unfortunately the log looks normal and I have no idea why the problem might be happening :*(.
With the new fix release for Starfield getting a popup message when trying to run game through Starfield Script Extender that this mod is incompatible with current version of the game (1.7.33).
I dont think this is incompatible, I believe that you need to ensure it is manually in the correct position. Example MO2 using the temp starfield option is trying to force it in my games path instead of the starfield data path. If you manually copy these files to pathtostarfield.exe/data/interface ../data/mcm ../data/skse It should work fine. I have noted some oddities with other mods though.
Ok Edit #1 I swapped to the new modified mo2 plugin for starfield this appears to cause a minor issue which is easily fixable. The clock is looking for its gwf file to be in ../interface/ItemSorter/ Simply create a folder in the mod in mo2 under interface called ItemSorter, and copy the gwf file to thhis spot. I wouldn't recommend (Ihaven't tested) if removing the original gwf file will cause new errors.
I downloaded this to try it out, I've always loved the Clock Widgets for games but grabbed it this morning, then the update snuck in before I could try it!

This mod only has interface files and a dll, no scripts nor plugins so it's perfectly safe to uninstall mid game
Now, it works on version Starfield 1.8.86 + fix

I find no gwf in my Mod.
