If your widescreen resolution is already properly supported, yes, that's the flag you want.
I don't understand why people post these "mods" that are just a Custom INI flag with a file that contains all other changes they use, instead of a clean one - or at least provide the clean flag on the description for those with already custom ini files.
There is indeed nothing more simple than a ini tweak, but thoses mods are really useful because it's on the nexus, and you can merge it's well explain enough that you can add it to your StarfieldCustom
Pretty sure that wrong. Screenshots saved with the games own(space key) are still used as loading screens. Screenshots taken with others(Steam key, Reshade key etc) will not and have never done so.
Now that's a different matter. I don’t understand what the developers were thinking about, they don’t know that there are monitors with 21:9, or even more? Thanks, now you can take screenshots without those stripes on the sides. 😉👍

So lazy
Just place the follwing into StarfieldCustom.ini:
Is the default FOV in photo mode correct at 70?
Also, is it possible to extend the grid lines horizontally like the golden ratio in photo mode for wide monitors?
