What version was the preset made in? Been working on a preset myself on version 7.3. This doesn't seem to work on that Substance Painter version at least. I've got the last perpetual license before they switched to subscription
AO - RGB with the AO input (greyscale) Color - RGB+A with the Base colour on RGB with the opacity (greyscale) on the A layer. Hello, I have also an old version of SubstancePainter from 2020 an I want to wait for the 2024 version on Steam. With your instructed I created the template on my own - so far so good. However I have a problem with the creation of the normal. Mine looks always this violet instead of the greyish formet needed for Starfiel. Like these example: https://www.sketchuptextureclub.com/textures/architecture/stones-walls/stone-walls/stone-wall-pbr-texture-seamless-22407 Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong? Where is the difference?
Does this just go in your plugins folder? I'm trying to get this to work with 3d models. Any tips? I'm running version 8.2 Update: I am determied to be able to edit starfield textures in 3d using a combination of the meshes and textures. If anyone has any tips I would appriciate the help. But reguardless I will figure it out on my own and report back here once I have a solution.

Here is the set up if you want to re-create it:
AO - RGB with the AO input (greyscale)
Color - RGB+A with the Base colour on RGB with the opacity (greyscale) on the A layer.
Metal - RGB with the Metalic input (greyscale)
Normal - RGB with the NoramDirectX (RGB)
Opacity - RGB with Opacity (greyscale) input map
Rough - RGB with Roughness (greyscale) input map

"Note: You will need to invert the blue channel of your normal map prior to exporting for it to work in-game."

Just drag & drop the file into your resources in Substance like you would any material, texture etc.

As far as colours go - even Bethesda use BC1. I've updated the description to suggest either works.
