    Credit to JustAnOrdinaryGuy for the idea.

    Some of the other custom tweaks I'm using are:

    • 30% increased base reload rate (feels good without being overpowered, even with two reload speed skills)
    • 2000m ship looting distance (perhaps "cheaty", but a nice time saver)
    • 25% spaceship registration fee

    Most of them are just adapted from other mods, so I'd most likely point you towards the given mod and offer instruction on how to change the values to your liking, but as the list expands that may not remain true. The 30% increased base reload speed is the only one I'd likely share outright.

    Does it work still?

      Someone reported that another CCR mod of mine no longer works, so I'm not sure. I haven't touched Starfield in months, so I'm not sure if it's an issue with CCR (is it still even updated/used?) or if the format/structure of CCR mods have changed.

      Either way, it's unlikely I'll be back to update my mods anytime soon.

    How does this interact with the perks that lower flora & fauna scanning requirements, if it does?

      Honestly, I'm not positive. If I recall, if you use the default (half) it should reduce both to just 1 scan a piece with those perks, but I have no idea what will happen if you use the single scan and then add those perks -- they might have a hard-coded minimum, or it might break things.

      Got the perk and it does reduce it from 4 scans to 1 with this mod. What I wasn't sure about was how the perk was changing the requirement from 8 to 4... was is subtracting 4 from the requirement or was it dividing the requirement by 2. If it was dividing by 2, then I would assume that with this mod it would have ended up at 2 scans required as that's half of 4. However since it's ending up at 1 scan required it's probably just subtracting 4, but since it can't really be 0 scans required it just requires 1 scan.

    This mod is a little iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to fail more when you load a save from in game instead of coming straight from desktop.

      I've never had an issue with it.

    Hello,

    Anyway you could create a version which decreases the amount of scans needed per level added to the Skills Botany and Zoology.
    So it goes :-
    8 = Default
    6 = Lvl 1
    4 = Lvl 2
    2 = Lvl 3
    1 = Lvl 4

    ?

    Thanks :)

      That's beyond the scope of my ability, and if it's possible, it would likely require either the Creation Kit or SFSE anyway. However, if someone hasn't already created one by then, I might look into it.

    you made a typo/forgot to add /data/

    2) [unsupported] Download the mod and extract the .7z file to "<steam folder>/steamapps/common/Starfield/". The final structure should look like "<steam folder>/steamapps/common/Starfield/sfse/plugins/ConsoleCommandRunner/SurveyReqHalf.toml".

    should be

    The final structure should look like "<steam folder>/steamapps/common/Starfield/data/sfse/plugins/ConsoleCommandRunner/SurveyReqHalf.toml".

      Thanks for the heads up. For some reason I genuinely thought the sfse folder was in the root folder, not Data... been a few months since I modded Skyrim, I guess.
