  • Hair merging tutorial

    Before anything else, the issues you will come across:


    Merging hairstyles with physics such as Sarah's or Andreja's only work in the character creator. Once you're back in the game, the "front" hairstyle will disappear and a glitched shadow will be at your feet. The back mesh must be the hair with physics and the front mesh must be static. You can find static versions of some hairs in meshes\actors\human_crowd and use the player hair morph files. These hairs are of lower quality, intended for nameless npcs, so it is hit or miss if you find one that looks good.
    NEW INFO FOR CROWD HAIR: Some of the male versions are a much higher quality than the female. You can still use these on female characters (nif/facebones) with the female morph.dat from player meshe...
