That's really easy to make, also, just one diffuse texture file: Textures\actors\robots\modela\robota_head_eye_mat_color.ddsAnd optionally a corresponding normalmap, roughness and metal ones.
I was just digging around in the textures earlier to do just that and modify some of the ship displays but for some reason gimp is throwing me errors when I try to load dds files. My plugin might be old though, I haven't done any work with textures since FO76 came out.

Its using a new format that gimp does not yet suppport, now your retex pipeline should include "TexConvGUI.exe" along with "TexConv.exe" to export from the dds to png, and once editing is finished, back to dds
you should do the old KIT from the old night rider show in the 80s. or possibly Data from star trek, but i wonder if you can change his esthetic to look more human maybe give him pale skin to get that android look properly.
I dont want to be a straight up party pooper but I dont think this sounds like HAL. Like not at all. Hal 9000 has a smooth distant but comforting voice not a dry raspy one. I just watched some clips from the movie for reference. Tone is different etc.

This is explained in the description. The voice is based off of HAL's, but when the replacement voice files are generated they use the original voice files as a blueprint so they will retain the cadence, accent and many other traits from the old voice, in Vasco's case they sound robotic. It's impossible to do anything else with RVC and I don't think TTS will be able to do it much better without spending hundreds of hours in manually tweaking every voice file and I'm not super keen on doing that ;)

Haha, I remember reading that and it's what gave me the idea. Thanks for that :D I can look into Marvin but I think it will be difficult to get him to sound depressed using RVC and the original Vasco voice files.
