Thank you for the handy CCR mod! If it's not too much to ask, do you think it might be possible to separate the different tweaks with individual distances in the fomod installer? For example I want to loot from 1500m, transfer to and from my ship at 2500m, but I still want to only dock at 500m (muh immersion). I know how to edit the files manually so it isn't an issue for me, but I think having the separate options adds a lot of flexibility and makes changing these a lot easier. Please consider it!
Yes, different distances is what I wanted too. Actually I'd love it to be random, with high & low parameters every time - just like real life often is. Don't know if that's possible.
So I was using this with the original ship we get from Barrett, worked fine. But when I changed to the Star Eagle, the efffect no longer seemed to work. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
When installed using Vortex, the files will be created under "Starfield\SFSE".For compatibility, please make sure that the files are created under "Starfield\Data\SFSE\".I would also like to have the option to not install the files instead of the minimum value of 50 if possible.
Are you sure that when you installed it using vortex you selected the Vortex option. As the fomod has the option to choose either Vortex or Mod Organizer. The Vortex option should be installed into the Data Folder. I will look into it more.
And as for not Installing a file that can be added... But would be redundant as the distance that has the "(Default)" is the games default distance. I suppose I could make it even cleared.
Yep. I added an option in the fomod in the 1.4 update that address this issue now. It has the options for MO2 or Vortex as a mod manager that will put the files in the correct location.
Registration cost is normally about 10%, I see you changed it to 25% of standard, you should clarify that in the description that you didn't increase it to 25% of the ship cost.
Also perhaps you should release the regular bat version instead / as well? I have already been using tweaks for increased transfer distance and loot distance for ships and they both break every time you load your game and need to be run again, doesn't seem like it would be good to only run when hitting main menu.
I agree about having a bat version as well until CCR is updated to have OnSaveLoaded as an available event type. Pretty much the workaround I've been using until then is to have bat versions of most CCR mods as a redundancy and have them listed in my combined.txt file that I can run with a simple bat combined if I reload a save file during a play session.
Fortunately, it's easy to copy and trim down the contents of a .toml into a regular .txt file for mods that have simple functionality like this. I planned on editing the file anyway to set the distances to 1000m because 2500m felt excessive to me and I wanted to get rid of the ship registration change too.
I removed the ship registration as it didn't really fit here. I did add an optional mod that is just the txt/bat files for those that would rather of that. I also updated the main so its a fomod with the option to choose different distances.

Edit: Nevermind, my mistake!

Easy to fix yourself, just a folder-edit :)
