Is the SaveIniFiles a separate command or tagged onto the end of the line above it? If tagged at the end I get an error saying they were not saved. If I do it as a separate command there is no confirmation it did anything.
I don't know why, but my FOV didn't change when I manually put the setting in my starfieldcustom file - but this fixed it. Thank you SO much - it was driving me crazy!!!
Nope cant seem to get it to work no matter what, its ' key on UK keyboard not ~ best I can get it to do is come with a warning about losing achievements and this message
bat ffp 100 Expected end of line Compiled script not saved! bat fpp 100 Expected end of line Compiled script not save
Time to uninstall and stick with dodgy FOV as less annoying that faffing with this, pity
I tried to follow precisely the instructions. I get this error, and i don't have a typo, just as in OP second command bat tpp. Plus OP may have a typo, because you have to type in the message manually here. My results are the same. It doesn't work for me.
thanks but line does nothing for me :( I noticed flight view only changes in 1st person through fFPWorldFOV but fTPWorldFOV still doesn't affect ship 3rd person.
Doesn't have any effect for me... Looks like the command works, it changes the value in Starfieldcustom.ini... but does not change my view... here is the ini
I changed my first-person FOV while in a ship to 120, and then when I got out of the ship I changed it back to 100, but the gun seems to be stuck in 120(like I can still see as much of the gun as I could in 120fov, but the overall FOV is smaller). Any ideas for a fix?
*EDIT - I found a quick fix. Go talk to an NPC(with dialogue like your companion or something) Don't say anything, just wait for the options of things to say--then tab out.
This brought my perspective of the weapon back into the appropriate FOV

first person:
SetINISetting "fFPWorldFOV:Camera" "110"
SaveIniFiles
third person:
SetINISetting "fTPWorldFOV:Camera" "110"
SaveIniFiles
you dont need the saveinifiles part if you're just testing different ones until you find the one you like
also, it does seem to be 70, at least in first person
Open "StarfieldCustom" in "notepad".
Go to "[Camera]" and edit "fFPWorldFOV=**" to "fFPWorldFOV=100"

Just follow the basic instructions you've put "bat ffp 100" when its "bat fpp100"
bat fpp 100
