November 8th @ 8:25am Lets talk the state of Starfield. I love this game, the core game loops are there but its just not quite ALL THE WAY THERE yet. I love modding and working on Bethesda games. The audio mod isn't going anywhere, but I need to take a step back and wait for things to improve before I can keep banging my head against the same wall. Hopefully we get Creation Kit 2 for Christmas :) but thats a mega reach.
Quick Notes from previous area's: Sound files come in two standard forms. 44100Hz and 48000Hz. Shorter / Looping sounds are generally 44100Hz where higher quality audio and music is generally 48000Hz. Additionally, these sound files are also either Mono or Stereo.
One last thing, some where along the way, they changed either the person who was compiling .wem files or the computer. Half the sound files are encoded at Little Endian 16bit PCM or Custom Vorbis.
New sounds and files will be added as they're completed.

So are these actually replacers ? your original audio ? or upgraded modified original audio ? I was looking for HD sound upgrade mod HD overhaul that converts the lot to a better quality bascially, 24 bit 48hz or 16bit 48hz , many of the vanilla sounds, sound over compressed and flat..assuming its becuase many are using a lessor quality conversion file..they don't even sound 16bit 44hz in the vannila for many sounds.
The problem with making HD quality right now is not having access to the tools. We can only exchange files, we don't yet have the ability to put in new ones or change how they perform. As soon as we get the Creation Kit 2. Ill be back and working on this again.
hmm ok ..but I unpacked all the audio files a while ago, to change some of the music to my preference, using original wavs, then repacked to wem using wwise (audiokinetics) then copied the same files into the correct folder locations...what's to stop anyone converting the audio to HD using the same method i did for music ? I am not sure how the official tools being released has any effect on this process...but fair enough I hear what your saying..I think...
Only replaced OST (Sorry Bethesda! XD), so music yet for pretty much every places already (Mars base, Neon City, Astral Lounge & so on, u name it) thanks to other mods. Oh, plus changed a few sounds with some neat weapon replacements but looks like time to enhance all sounds then! :) Thanks for sharing this! :)

They dont sound like the same gender as my player character so I'd like to delete it.
