Things that I consider essential for the evolution of the MOD to become perfect.
Completely replace the abbreviation and leave only a symbol in the exact same place where the abbreviation would go. In this case, it would be an icon.
Make it compatible with the StarUI Inventory filter.
I have two quick questions: Is it still incompatible with IconSortingTags - Starfield Edition? Does your mod rewrite the weapon names to add the tag, or does it just add the tag?
Sorry for the late reply. IconSortingTags - Starfield Edition replace the same file replaced by mine so it is not compatible with standard version. You can use xTranslator You have to use the version for xTranslator after have applied IconSortingTags. The mod rewrite the weapon names but in xTranslation is set as an add the tag but I think In this case will be anyway removed the icon for unique items names only (it needs a test to be sure). For not unique weapons anyway the icons will be not removed.
Thank You MikkelManDK I did not noticed It is a simple xml txt file... Seem that few virus checker were not able to open the file (or gone in timeout checking I suppose). You can verify it clicking on the white on red cross near the old file the: 31 antivirus said ok, in 6 "Unable to process file type" result. I have re-upload it and now seem all worked correctly.
Conflicts with Icon Sorting Tags - Starfield Editionsince both mods make changes to Starfield_en.STRINGS maybe add an workaround or make a compatibility file? xTranslator is kinda overwhelming for 90% of users, maybe an tutorial on the description?
File -> Load Esp/Esm Choose Starfield.esm in [Stafield Directory]\Data\
File -> Load Strings Choose Starfield_en.STRINGS or Starfield_it.STRINGS or [..] in [Stafield Directory]\Data\Strings\To load the strings from the other mod
File -> Import Translation -> XML Files (xTranslator) Select the file byoStarfieldUniqueItemsTag-XTranslator-EN-.. (in this mod on optional files)To load the strings with [UNIQUE]
File -> Finalize STRINGS To create the merged file(s)
I did not tested but should work (note that if the mode had change the name of these items adding something for example these items will take the name with [UNIQUE] as in this mod
Thank You BrendanatorX, I found a fast way to port the tag on the English version of the game, so I added also the English Version of the mod. I put [UNIQUE] and also [UNICO] for Italian version. Before I put UQ cause I didn't want too many long tags but after using the mod I noticed that your suggestion in naming is visually better (also because unique items have not so many tags generally).
