Just wondering, Something that I've been dying to do to my game is a actually make player character footsteps louder, even when at 100% Too many times it feels like my character is floating over surfaces with no sound at all. Could this fix be applied in this way also?

Hey mate, is it possible for you to fix the bug of non-audible footsteps when wearing a companion's dress?
Asking as you're the only one fixing / adjusting some kind of footstep audio so far, so maybe you're also able to fix that bug, too.

I've experienced that bug on a 100% rate wearing Sara's outfit (no matter if via console or via story progress), others had it also with Sam's etc., seems to be a general bug.

    Regards!

Any chance you could do one that also quiets (or mutes) his "wrist" noise?  (he spins his wrist every few minutes when he's bored).
    Please and thank you! :-)

Same issue. Doesn't reduce footstep volume. This mod changes RobotModelA_Heavy sounds; maybe Vasco uses RobotModelA sounds.
      Edit: tested using 10% option

Also maybe pre-patch\after-patch sounds files differs and or xgp\steam differs too... and so maybe work for some people and for others no based on this... (must to see witch one original files has been used for mod blablabla...)
p.s. i'm not modder\expert\dev so this is just my stupid nosense idea.. maybe reason is other i don't know.

I'm using the last updated version here, and it's working fine.
Did you try the other versions? 50% or 25%?
Do you have other mods installed? Are they working fine?
Where did you install the files? My Documents or the Steam folder?

I only tested 10% version. I ended up making new version of this mod for my own personal use and replaced ModelA audios, which are completely different files that this mod changes. It works like a charm.

So this mod replacing ModelA_Heavy sounds doesn't sound right to me. Or maybe there is some other magic going on; Vasco changes to heavy sounds at some point of the game, or under certain circumstances, or something.
I used fairly new save in my tests.

thank you for fix i will re-download and retry!
p.s. i was so mad that i create this is autohotkey script
      https://pastebin.com/pdqYwp2H
for autodelete all audio files about vasco hahahaha
      https://t.co/pez7KaRaaN
But yes it's not good solution (and not fix the problem too because as bub200 say the files is not about vasco at all hahaha so this macro in fact do NOTHING )
but i just want share with you for laugh\smile about what crazy thing i can do when i disappoint things hahaha
anyway i'm happy that you "wrong" the files, because thank to this i learn new things about autohotkey , if you not was wrong maybe i never learn :D

Well, you asked for suggestions so...

Can you make a version of louder footsteps for the player?

Fallout 4 has something  like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/935/

I too vote for this request ;)
I love hearing my character's footsteps clearly in games.  It's ASMR to me.
BGS games always have very quiet player sound and loud NPC sound, so player volume increase is needed ASAP xD
      Please make one ;P

Hello. Would it be possible to maybe make a wonderful silencer for the "Terminals" in the game? :)
