A galactic radio is something that definitely should've been in the game in the first place, so this mod is greatly appreciated. Now all I need is the instructions on how to add my own music...
Agreed, we should be able to call it a Music Player or something generic like that.
By the way, I love this mod idea. If there are versions with more songs coming I am really excited (listening to the same 6 of a certain type would be a bit repetitive), as I am a lazy bum with no time to mod a playlist that is 2 hours long. Also, is it randomized or could it be? That might be cool! Someone just made the voices mod which is 4gb big, so I know these could be big, but I got room on my drive for tunes if I am gonna play this for a while! :D
Yet it plays almost exactly like an updated fallout 4 except for the star ships and better combat, still need's space ghouls and super mutants haha, perhaps the ghouls are settlers that used Alien DNA gone wrong and the super mutants in this new franchise could be heavy gravity world colonists gone bad, these will likely be added in at some point by mod makers including larger more interesting new Atlantis style city's overrun by mutant's and other monsters, it also need's some aliens but I guess that may be somewhere down the line in Bethesda's own DLC's when they come out.
So given how popular radio mods are for Bethesda's other games this feels like a real oversight - or cost cutting measure on there part, don't know why, space zealots spewing out propaganda from satellite stations set up on space, pirates doing the same, neo city with it's own music etc, I mean the game has plenty of material already in it in the form of the dance floors and various bars so some DJ's would have been fun to mix with that along with a space radio that could receive these tunes in different systems even some settler radios with a country theme or a new France radio playing ancient French song's etc, a Tokyo radio etc.
Still being short on install room myself I will have to wait before I personally install this but a well earned and deserving Kudos to the mod maker for bringing back something that the largely fallout 3, NV and 4 fan base that are now playing this game are missing.
Anyway I am going back to my flying bedstead. (I wonder if someone over at NASA really was wanting to make a Lunar Lander or if this was really just a lazy mans dream of a super modified shopping trolley I mean look at those wheel's haha - hmm I wonder how many millions they cost along with there expensive hammers and toilette seats) The 'Flying Bedstead' | NASA
For anyone who used my mod it was deleted for "copyright" by Nexus. Despite the moderator who deleted my stuff using copyrighted characters in some of their own stuff. If you enjoyed great spacer radio I have reuploaded it to mediafire for anyone who wants to use it. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/u8glvwpcnfryz/Data\
They're just Wem files with the following songs Space Oddity Rocket Man Ditch One Way trip to the sun Dethklok Galaxy Space radio bumper Dark Side of the Moon
I was originally gonna flesh it out with Mickey Caviar as the DJ but I'm over it now I don't want to deal with Nexus. I sent the mods files to the owner of basedmods as well so maybe they'll reup it they dont have the option to upload folders on there so I just emailed it to the admin
I sure do love anime and censorship! God speed gamers and thank you Bub for promoting my little mod I hope some of you enjoyed it while it lasted
Just so everyone is aware, this mod uses the 5 slates that you find when you go to Vladimir Sall's house in the game. The mod author did NOT create these slates, as he seems to suggest in the mod description. That is why you can simply use console commands to add the slates to your inventory, as they are already in the game. You can simply pick them up and play them without this mod.
Hello friends, I tried to import my own songs, transcoded them into WEM format music on wwise and named them correctly. However, it cannot be played normally in the game. After clicking play, six sentences of dialogue appear quickly, and then the playback stops and there is no music. I don't know why? Is my transcoding format incorrect?
Hey, other radio stations work, right? So we can rule out that the mod is not installed correctly. Try these: 1. Double check the file names. Make sure they are exactly same as in the tutorial. Rename files manually if needed 2. If that doesn't work, make sure your encoding in Wwise is correct. Use Vorbis High Quality. File size is good indicator: normal 4 minute song is around 2-4mb after the conversion. If your .wem file size is under that, something went wrong in Wwise
Just figured out why it won't play, simply because the music I recorded was a super high quality version, 40MB a song, which proved to be unplayable. When I used more normal quality music it played fine, which was great. Thank you for your work, which allowed me to realize the idea of "it would be great if there was a radio station" that I discussed with my friends. But there is another problem. The music played in the game has the texture of an old player. It should be impossible to remove it, right? And I want to know what method you use to modify the SWF file, and I want to find a way to print the album cover on the data plate.
it would be a great thing if I could just understand how to use those tools, I'm completely incompetent in the matter, but I would like to create a radio, if I give you a playlist....it's not like you're doing me this great favor and you do it for me ?or if there is someone else who can do itThanks anyway for the reply

This is no brainer why.
You say that like they have a lot of modern day franchises. You could not put a radio in TES......
