I ran into an issue using a PS5 DualSense controller with ReShade installed, so recording it here for posterity.
After installing ReShade my DualSense controller no longer worked in Starfield. Even using DSX to emulate XBox controller didn't help. Uninstalling just ReShade made it work again.
Eventually found a Reddit thread complaining of the same thing. Their suggestion was disabling Steam's In Game Overlay. I did that, and ReShade now works with Dual Sense.
Is it expected when installing Reshade you'll install all the modules?
Looking through the Starfield Apogee Reshade.ini file it seems these are the only ones in use. Standard effects SweetFX by CeeJay.dk qUINT by Marty McFly Color effects by prod80 OtisFX by Otif Inf
Damn, dude. That looks really effing good. It's clear, cleans up the nasty green hue and doesn't make shadows pitch black holes devoid of light. Very very nice.
Nice to see a fellow "I wanna be able to see in dimly lit/shadowy areas like a normal person" enjoyer. I don't know how so many people see reshades that make you use a flashlight just to see the corner of a room and think "wow this is incredible!"
Not sure what you mean by preset-only version. One that does not require the LUTs? If that's the case, no. You could still use the Reshade with whatever LUTs you're using and see how it works out but the vision of this Reshade is based on using neutral LUTs (except the ones included).
It's the qUINT_solaris FX. You can open reshade and click the filter to turn it off. Not sure if it can be adjusted to remove that effect from the menus or not.
but it doesn't affect my gameplay though so I'm not sure whether to disable it or just go with it coz it doesn't seem to cause any issues with in-game content so far

I don't think you're supposed to include the dll with your mod. Just FYI.
But it does look good!
