Spent ages trying to get this to work without success on Gamepass.
tried installing it in different places, tried putting the .ini edits in different places, tried different orders to the .ini edits.
I finally figured out what was wrong.
Don't copy and paste the edits from this site, type them yourself. The site sometimes adds invisible characters that will keep the .ini folder from loading loose files.
These are brilliant! My only suggestion/request/wish would be to show the map in a more traditional line-art map style, instead of these "drone footage renders".
Sorry to bother you @VenomSnake26 but as you are the only one I found who provided a detailed explanation on the symlink... I activated it in Vortex (settings/mods/deployment method, and not settings/workarounds/symlinks) and neither your mod nor those like you who went to Mygames do not work now. However, I now have the directories in the Steam/Starfield data directory, and in each directory (example: data\textures\architecture\city\newatlantis\transit for your mod) there is a __folder_managed_by_vortex at each level. The mod files, finally, have become symlinks, which refer directly to the Vortex directory which is used to store all downloaded mods.
And so it doesn't work. I don't have your map, I don't have the textures modified by other mods, and the blood modified by a mod is now displayed in large squares.
It's hard to tell what exact order things were done on your end, but I'd assume it's because your Documents folder was disabled at some point during your attempts, maybe by the Baka mod in your list, so the situation was a symlink to a no-longer-existing folder basically resulting in the same issue (but kind of backwards) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Either way, glad you got it working one way or another.
Thanks, current and also previous versions work fine for me installed into UWP Starfield directory with Vortex. Probably works fine since I use the Data symlink method for My Games\Starfield.
How do you set vortex up with symlink -- in my vortext settings/mods options it only shows Hardlink and move deployment options. So SymLink option there.
Damn that was a quick catch lol (just uploaded a minute ago). Yes, not sure what happened there, fixed now. Updating the other info atm. Will upload new screenshots in a minute. Changes in the log.
This is a really nice mod, I did find one thing to perhaps improve: Reliant Medical (currently on 02 Residential) should probably be on 01 Mast District as it is much closer, even if you have the mission from the medic woman in the Well who wants you to go there to get the doctor's notes the mission marker tells you to take the tram to the Mast station. (And perhaps it should be called the NAT instead of 'Tram' as that's also how the NPCs refer to it in-game?)
It might be slightly off the Mast overview photo but it really is quite a walk from the Residential station whereas from Mast you can just jump over the water or even walking around the water is faster. I know the game default art also shows it under Residential but imo it's on the border between the two districts, even the entrance is facing the Mast district.
I wanted to change Tram to something else actually, NAT probably being the end choice. At the time I figured it would just be quick and to the point for new players, but it does sound a bit too.. bluntly descriptive.
As far as Reliant Medical, I didn't want to stray too far off the vanilla layout and it is technically in the Residential District even though it is right on the border, just a bit faster from Mast but not too much really (excluding the markers which have always just been the straightest line to objectives). If you're coming from the Mast building above, then swimming is faster but not something you'd do coming up from the ramp below. Anyways, no plans to change that I guess.
Something else I had noted. Even though when entering the tram it's labelled Mast District, the large hanging signs between Residential and Commercial when entering Mast District say "Embassy District" so that seems to have been an oversight on Bethesda's part somewhere. However, changing that might just be confusing when using the station.
Either way thanks for the feedback, it's interesting to observe these little things. The Tram naming will be changed in a new update though soon enough.

What did I miss? thank you for your help

instead of using "symlink" I changed for "hardlink" and now it's working...
No new Data folder in mygames/starfield so I guess it's ok...
