Having the same problem. Trying to use the grey jacket and the no decals files. The part where the back decals would be is matte but the rest is glossy still.
Unfortunately the logo is a mesh and until we get the tools to alter nifs I won’t be able to. Only other way to do it now would be to make the jacket into a space suit replacer and set the decals as a jet pack. I actually did have plans to do it that way since I wanted to make a Bladerunner style jacket.
I was going to ask if this could be made into a space suit and have the hood and mask substitute as a helmet. I was thinking the settler poncho may be good for that, but this would be way better.
To make these mod manager friendly, you just need to remove the folder before the Data folder. When you turn the files into an archive, you just right-click on the Data folder. Don't put the Data folder into another folder. :)
Make a note on the description page that everyone needs to install Baka Disable My Games Folder for everything to get installed in the correct Starfield folders. (Assuming the mods they download have the correct folder/file structure. For example, even if they had the Disable My Games Folder mod and downloaded this mod, it still wouldn't get installed correctly due to the folder that has been placed before the Data folder in the download.)
How do I get their mod to pop up as a clickable link like what you just posted? Sorry I'm new to actually posting my mods on here and still figuring things out.
Just make sure you delete the https:// that's initially there on the URL line. I recommend just click the URL entry box and then using the Backspace key to delete it. If you try to select the https:// and delete it all at once, it'll usually close the Insert Link window. It's annoying.
The Grey version is what I was looking for, I like the open jacket design of this and underfleece feels better than the pirate captains wierd oven glove babygrow

then I used vortex to install the jacket mods.
Then i get this deep black mod instead of the grey and its glossy but there are no decals.
Edit: And it now works for the hood down version of the jacket as well.

Edit: Alright did everything like you suggested. How's it look?
