I'm done with Starfield for the time being, so probably no updates in the foreseeable future. I grant full permission to use/change/integrate this mod to everyone, considering you credit me where it's applicable.
Hi there, wonderful mod and awesome work! I was wondering if it would be possible to have your permission to integrate this mod officially with an upcoming "VASCO Companion Replacer" mod using Legion's ME3 model?
I've also reached out via Discord to provide a dev download, let me know thank you!
Unfortunate that this requires disabling the documents folder, most of my mods are in there. Wouldn't disabling it essentially brick my game 100 hours into it with a dozen mods?
Just Copy the Data Folder from documents over your data folder in the main game directory and overwrite everything if asked. then delete the data folder in the Documents and use the mod that disables the documents data folder.
Unfortunately, I have tried to use this mod and the No Sound in Space mod, and BOTH are not working when using Mod Organizer 2. I put them to the highest priority, uninstalled and reinstalled, accepted the default data folder assignment, and even created a starting instance with SFSE to use the Baka Disable My Games Folder (when I launch from SFSE all my other mods don't work so IDK how else to try it). If anyone else has ideas I'm willing to give it a try but I just spent several hours trying to get this to work and now I'm too tired to continue.
UPDATE! This might help anyone having the same issues I was. TLDR, get the beta version of Mod Organizer 2 (only found on their discord, link is at the bottom of the nexus MO2 page).
If like me, you followed a YouTube tutorial that told you to use the "Starfield Plugin for Mod Organizer 2" mod and load off of that, it will cause plenty of issues with not just this mod but many others! That is exactly what was happening to me. I nuked all of my mods, uninstalled MO2, copied my save files to be safe, and then downloaded the newest beta (beta 12 patch). Then I reinstalled only a couple of mods at a time, started the game to test them, and then quit to install a few more. Several restarts later and more mods under my belt, THEY ARE ALL WORKING NOW! Several other mods were not working before but plenty of other people were having issues too so I just assumed it was the mod.
With how many people were not having any issues with this mod, I knew something on my end was wrong. @63OR63, this mod is great and you are great. Sorry about the initial confusion on my side. :P
Thanks. You can make him do this by replacing one of the files responsible for pronouncing the player's name, e.g. instead of saying "Captain F#ckface" (it's present in the game files) he would say "Captain Shepherd". Also, you could regenerate all files where he says "Captain" and replace it with "Commander". You can refer to the guide if you want to do it by yourself.

Maybe the same or another one for "Kaiser"?
