this only applies to people using the FULL version as it is right now, there's no way to make it so only your character has them. so npcs will also have them.
if you dont want all npcs to have tattoos you need to only use the hand and body skin color that your character uses. (if you dont know your skin tone go to an enhance store to check.) example: if your character is male and has skin tone 1. you want to keep these 2 files "defaulthandsm_sk0_color" and "nakedbodym_sk0_color" you can delete the rest of the files inside of the hands and the nakedbody folder. dont delete the face tattoos...
if your character is a female the files will be almost the exact same as the male except in the name it wont have an m it will have an f example:----> "defaulthandsf_sk0_color"

I agree with this, I would love it if we could get it without the underwear somehow. I've got these tattoos just on wifey Andreja and I can't dress her up in anything that looks good because the crappy vanilla underwear shows through. I use CRT Skins for all the other skin tones so my outfit looks amazing of curse, but would be so nice if we could get a version that works with one or two of the alternate skin mesh options out there please!

great mod rather than add the tattoos to the skin texture, would it be possible to use the mesh from a skin tight outfit (cut into arms, legs and torso) with the tattoos on them and attach them to the accessory slots in a similar way to belts, glasses, backpacks, etc?
I downloaded your mod, and files to use with the game and MO2. Nothing worked. Kinda forgot about it. Had an issue with MO2, so I loaded all my mods with Vortex to see if it was in fact MO2, and lo and behold...your mod popped up! Looks fantastic! Figured out my issue with MO2 and went back to using it, and now...no tat's. Installed per your instructions and nuthin. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!
Side note: when you copy into data folder in MyGames/Starfiled, do you just copy it to that folder dircuz if you do it just goes into the data folder thats there), or make its own folder?
The full option leaves the tattoo on my neck and head lighter than the one on my body, even making it as dark as possible.It only looks the same color when equipping clothes solution? I have deleted the rest of the sk0 etc. from the hands and torso since I have the sk5.

no prob. i havent met her yet but her skin looks a bit darker than sarahs so ide say try out nakedbodyf_sk3_color.dds, and if that's not it go to the next one _sk4_ etc. hope that helps when you get the right one let me know it be useful for next time
Ha! You were spot on with your first guess, it's nakedbodyf_sk3_color.dds. I copied that one over only instead of the entire mod and Andreja has the body tats now. Thank you so much!
Hey, so sorry I didn't see your post till now (I redid my mods and came back to remember what skintone I needed for Andreja)
All you need to do is download and unzip the mod from the files page. Delete everything but the nakedbodyf_sk3_color.dds file in the data\textures\actors\human\naked_body folder. Then drag and drop the data folder from the mod into wherever your main data folder is, either documents\my games\starfield or steam\steamapps\common\starfield depending on your modding setup.
The tattoos are glitching but otherwise it works. If u ignore the glitching and follow the locked and sticked comment on this post you'll also avoid random npc's having tattoos.
Not a bad mod just the glitching is a no no for me so i removed the mod.
