Am I dumb or it should have more files than the Console and Custom INI in the download ? If i understood well, it should have at least one another file, these are only for setting up the hotkey ? Well if not, i'm maybe doing something wrong cause i can't get it work, nothing happen when i press F1. Thanks in advance !
nah MRM you suck at explaining like really really suck and i'm guessing English isn't your first language because u have a lot of spelling mistakes too
for someone that just joined a year ago getting mad and dont know how to read is your fault I can trash talk to you all day and still win but, you know plebs like you just don't take your time to read.

SETTING UP HOTKEYS: If you do not have StarfieldConsole.ini file and StarfieldCustom.ini, downloads are in the optional file and extract into \Documents\My Games\Starfield. If you already the ini file, add the lines listed below.
LOL, you need to calm the F down Princess, because you are not only rude but also arrogant..."pleb". WTF
And yes - you SUCK at explaining - the above comment is 100% clear and super simple, you are mentioning up front bunch of stuff no one cares about and it's all chaotic, just tell how to install this stuff and shut it. Clown.
lol clearly you don't know how to read ether casue the instructions I have are very clear how-to install your just another example of people that have low IQ. if you dont know how to read and understand what instructions that are clearly there for you need to go back to pre school.
Mod OP I don't want to flame, but it's a bit distracting and throws off your eyes when there's so much random, bolded bullshit at the start of the description. Am I supposed to be reading this at all? I just want to know how to install it, and what it does. You can put the details later.
Can't get it to work. First I installed with Vortex, nothing. Then I manually made the console ui ini and manually added in the preferences ui, still nothing. Is this just no longer compatible?
After the most recent update this mod isnt working anymore. I get a notification on the top right of the screen but it no longer actually puts it into effect.
new account made today? LMAO HUH? brother I was using this mod before the update and after the update it stopped working. Not sure how but the file for starfielconsole was different than the one that was posted on your page. mine was something like waittime 48 hours and the one I found after the update was like assesstime or something like that. Im not a bot lmao
Happened to me also. The new version updates the StarfieldConsole.ini in the gamedirectory. I use the StarfieldConsole.ini in Documents/my games/starfield directory and that file still used the older "F1=bat wait48;cgf "Debug.Notification" "WAITING 48HRS/VENDORS RESET"" command. So you have to update that file with the new command: "F1=passtime 48;cgf "Debug.Notification" "WAITING 48HRS/VENDORS RESET""
the wait 2400hrs is for the ship vendors to reset and as stated in the description. IF YOU WANT THE SHIP VENDORS TO RESET HEAD TO "SOL" AND LAND ON "VENUS" AND USE "Shift+F1"
bat waitX X = the number from the file meant like enter bat wait24 the X was a place holder for the number was needed to type in
you don't have to use console with the set files I have before what that meant before I change the downloaded files you would open the console with ~ key and you type bat wait24 and that would wait 24hrs. now with the files there are no texts files needed I just sampled it down to make it easier. so all is needed for is using hotkeys.
OP: so using your hotkeys, F1 is not related to sleeping right? im trying to figure out how to get well rested for the XP boost and have trouble understanding how to go about it.
The F1 command doesn't seem to reset the vendors, though the Shift-F1 does have the intended effect. The F1 command seems to work, I get the notif in the upper right saying wait 48hrs but vendors don't reset.

Download: Better Waiting, Console INI and Custom INI
Open your game root folder (where starfield.exe is located)
Drop all the txt files from the Better waiting .zip
Open My Documents > My games > Starfield
Drop the content of Console INI
Dropt the content of Custom INI
Open game and F1 should be working now

Ps. Thanks @Nastii for clear instructions.

and yes it will always be compatible sence it’s a console command that will never change and always will be there for all game updates

I don't understand what "number from the file means"
