It can be but still, not animated, because the pause menu is a swf flash file, it can contain video but in a super low res, short in length, and very compressed, so I didn't make it for these reasons, glad you liked it tho

I agree, I don't use it personally, but it was asked nicely by someone and I tried to oblige. I did not find a way to make a proper background for the character menu, but with the transparency it is still usable. It's just an option, the mod is a mainly a milky way background for the pause menu. edit: I edited an even weirder one, but this one I called psychedelic, I think I'll keep it for personal use too
Throwing in the desire for galaxy map music, Mass Effect 1 style baby. The track you used for this main menu replacer would actually work quite well. There seems to be a low rumble while you're in the map, hopefully making it an easy replacement. If not, then I guess when the tools come out!

I got your music one that keeps getting taken down for astral lounge and I would love it if you could give me a youtube etc link for it so I can listen outside of the lounge I liked it so much and Don't wanna sit there for hours just to listen to it I'd love to listen while I play.
