      No I figured that would ruin the beginning of the game for some people. There is some unique items though.

      question the mod that i downloaded replaces the legendary mantis set right 
      so when i do the secret outpost later i can equip it and get the look from your starter stash ?

      yes exactly. 
      btw if you dont mind save scumming you can save right before you pick it up and reload until you get the mods you want ;)
