Hello everyone, I have added the StarfieldCustom.ini file I mentioned in the description to the optional section in the downloads. Extract that file to your C:/Documents/My Games/Starfield - folder. I believe the issue many are having is they are naming it StarfieldCustom.ini however it is still saving as a ".txt" text filetype. To be able to edit the file type make sure to turn on file name extensions in your file explorer.
I don't suppose anyone has any idea if this has been abandoned? This mod messes up the headers in the Creations Store, but it is the only mod that actually changes the interface to work with a PS5 Style controller instead of Xbox
This mod still works, but it messes with the new Creations menu. With this mod enabled, all mod category names are garbled characters on the main Creations menu, and all mod names are similarly garbled when looking at individual mod details.
just hit lvl 50 and got the xbox achievement. Dont have any enabler mods installed, so can confirm this mod does not interfere with unlocking xbox achievements :)
If you still have issues with the .ini file not working, try these tips...
Make sure the file is in its proper location ( C:\Documents\My Games\Starfield )
Check if you have Microsoft OneDrive. The documents folder is backed up by default so make sure the .ini file is in ( C:\Users\User_Name\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Starfield ) as well as the one above.
Ensure the correct extension is attached.
If you cannot see file extensions, open File Explorer, click View, and check file name extensions in the show/hide group.
Note: I'm on Windows 10 so viewing file extensions on other systems may be slightly different.

Edit : after reboot it's okay
📁 interface
📄 fonts_en.gfx (340.1 kB)
📄 fonts_en.swf (203.9 kB)
but I cannot see them.
Edit: Oh wait jk I didn't have a way to read the file (I didn't have winRaR installed). :)
Works great! 5/5
