The Destiny year 1 music is so iconic. Will this ever come to Creations?

Hi, I know it's been a year since the last update and you have probably forgotter this mod, but have you found a solution for the NG+ theme playing while the destiny menu music?

There was a similar mod like some months ago but it apparently got deleted from Nexus

Could be a few things, maybe your audio file is too high/low quality, maybe you used the wrong conversion settings when creating the wem file. The audio formatting section here goes into a bit more detail regarding the audio side of things and how this game handles sound files.

FYI: 471598494.wem is the file name for NG+ music replacer. Goes in same place.
Sephrajin figured it out parsing the JSON files. The original wem you created we all replicated will only replace the main menu music on a first playthrough, not NG+ since it changes slightly after you beat the game.

I was a bit confused by the (where exe is located) i didnt see any files with that so maybe thats why, could you elaborate what you mean by that, Sorry im sure this is a really dumb question

So to start, you playing on steam or game pass?

Regardless, there are one of two places you can place it depending on your choice.
Under steam it is located in \steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\Sound\Soundbanks ... you can click properties on the game and view the file location.

The other place is in your documents folder under Documents\My Games\Starfield

Once you find the Starfield folder, you can drop the file into data and it will create the Sound\Soundbanks folders for you or do it yourself.

You also have to make sure you find and make the ini edits outlined.

DaigojiGai did a good job of telling you where your root directory is located so I won't repeat it. It's the one located in your Steam folder, which is located wherever you installed Steam.

If you're playing through GamePass, the folder structure is a little different. I'm also not entirely sure how well this mod will work as I know GamePass is having problems with mods right now. Just find the folder with Starfield.exe (if you don't have file extensions enabled then it'll just be called "Starfield" with the game logo) and drop the contents of the archive into there. Don't drop the archive in, just the folder labeled "Data" inside the archive.

You also need to go to your Starfield folder located in the "My Games" folder (Documents\My Games\Starfield) and make sure you have a StarfieldCustom.ini with the following lines:

      [Archive]
      bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
      sResourceDataDirsFinal=

Alternatively, if you're unsure how to create an ini file, you can download one in the optional files here.
I'm also unsure if this will cause your achievements to be disabled, but there's a couple mods to re-enable them which are simple enough to find.

If you've done all that, you should be greeted with the classic Destiny menu theme. Sorry for the confusion, I'll update the installation instructions!
